  1. Can you tell my wife that please? Welcome aboard.
  2. Thanks for posting Dave!! We named our son Luc spelled that way because he's half French. Not my half.
  3. Dennis, wasn't it something else?I'm not even sure I have a rear EA82 bumper.Should have at least one front. Also, which style? The flat deck for wagons or the raised ends(also wagon) and then there's another style to isn't there?(Sedans and coupes?) You're welcome to call my cell phne from 8:30-10PM tonight or email, post and I'll check before bed tonight....and a quick check in the AM before blasting off.
  4. OK What am I bringing and for you folks? Dennis-Brat bumper and ?????I'd better check my email Who else? And as best as I can recall I'm getting a wheel from Dave and maybe a tranny from Steve....anyone else?Might have enough for Rory's wheels too....I hope.If not I'm good for it. Thanks guys.
  5. Sounds great. Brad, sorry you won't be there.I'll catch up to you soon.I'm looknig forward to Pittsfield and maybe some oher rally stuff my friend has turned me onto in New England. Big decision....touring wagon or turbo wagon??:cornfuzz:
  6. Only if its free.I'm running tight with having to cover Dennis' windshield from the spring fling.Or if you need a few buck if you can wait on it.I do still need one as of this moment. Thanks
  7. one ringy dingy........two ringy dingy........make old Al Bell proud and use the PHONE.....like a real vintage owner should. BTW,I'd trade being popular on the USMB for your(my)'75 wagon.....but I won't hold my breath. I'll do what ever you need done my friend. So,like are you talking about this Friday, today?Or next Friday which would be the night AFTER Mischief Night?....Which could be detrimental to the health and well being of dad's soon to be wagon.....Milford isn't that bad but being in an industrial zone there's lots of advantage to the would be evil wrong doers.....they could have weapons of mass destruction.I go through this every year since my old Chevy truck was egged about 6 years ago.Yes,it's payback for when I was a young punk,I know.....eggs,whipped cream, toilet paper, the whole nine yards......
  8. Most places don't want kids in the yards or my son would be with me when I take trips to yards.
  9. Nay,negatory,nope....I'll try to get up there Friday. What I got from talking with the owner: Been sitting 2 years on driveway, not dirt(big plus) Has low topper, rear seats seperated but intact, driver's seat wear like all of them(shut up those of you with no rips the rest of us hate you)metalic green with tan interior......the guy poured a little gas down the carb and it fired right up. Does NOT have any bars.Nor does it have a plow He mentioned the doors getting a little rust at the bottom and wasn't sure about the rear wheel wells and rockers, etc. Tune in tomorrow for the exciting conclusion..........
  10. When I said that I've had my turbo wagon since summer and haven't had time to truely look it over I wasn't kidding. Looked at the valve cover on the driver's side and there were these two stickers from ATK.Looks like I've got a reman engine in my '87 turbo wagon...the rustfree one from the southwest. My car runs very strong and the engine seems like it's got about 30k on it tops.Car had 145K.I never did a Carfax report.I'm wondering if that would show in one of those reports. OK,tell me your ATK experiences. Thanks!
  11. 1981 is the last year of the first Brat body.(Gen I)
  12. Keith, you coming to Pine Barrens this time? Change the seals when converting.Might be a good idea to get a used compressor and change out on a bench.I think you may need to change seals under the dash too....not sure, but I know Aldo did on his Brat.
  13. Correct,Fuel Efficient....and boy they were...or are.I loved mine back in like 1983 or so.A real buzz bomb that surprised a LOT of people when I left a stop light. Higher comp. pistons as mentioned prev.
  14. Drive up in 2WD and I'll have a Brat one piece shaft waiting for you at PB.You can take it and pay later if you need to.Call it like a 12 pk of Guinness or Harpoon IPA....sound good?
  15. But just remember this is America and if the cars have cupholders he'll sell a million of them.
  16. Gets my vote for car of the year.Absolutely awsome.Great job!!!!!
  17. As I understand it there were 50 made in Beverly Hills. One sold on eBay here in CT just last year.
  18. EdRach has some that I've kind of wanted but not made the effort for yet.I keep thinking(or is it dreaming) that I'll find a nice set here.
  19. For EA82 cars maybe try getting an ashtray that you don't care about and modifying it.Cupholder will then slide in and out.
  20. You got a 40 ouncer in there too??? Actually it looks plenty cool.Needs a Ramones sticker though, maybe a Motorhead sticker too.
  21. Sure,I'll try to do that or they can make them to John Bloom and he'll rightfully take care of it.Even made out to "cash" works.
