'85 DL Sedan Rear Lift alternatives
You only want the spring.. You have to use the old strut and you take the spring out of the hold one and put the Honda Spring on the soob strut... I believe thats what someone said in a post not to long ago... Double check with one of the other memebers just to be sure and I'd only pay 10 or 20 bucks for thes spring

How hard is it to replace that seal? can it be done from the outside of the car or do I have to drop the tranny and replace the seal throuhg the inside? I guess I shouldnt be dumping the clutch at 5 grand on the snow, every time I shift gears... lol

What will heat do to an engine?
you could have cooked your gaskets, cracked a head, burned your pistons.. EA82s are pretty tough engines.. I overheated mine several times, still runs fine
-
Oil consumption is high
your most likely blowing oil out of the cam covers.. Mine leaks like a S.O.B. Also pull your skid plate off from under the oil pan, get in there with a 10 mm socket and make sure all of those bolts are tight.. They get lose and it will blow oil out that way too Oil pump is in front of the engine, right behind the elec. Fan on the radiator. Rocker covers = Cam covers.. I can reach all but 2 of the bolts on the covers... the other two, you have to bend those splash guards away from the motor a lil bit, and then you can get to them from under the car

Where is the heater blower intake?

lol.. I got bubbles in my oil too this morning.. My outside outlet that I plug my car into died, so my car sat at -5F all night.. When I started it.... Tick tick tick tick tick... for about 3 hours Time to replace those damn seals... Might as well hit the timing belts too if I'm gonna have to rip all that stuff off...
