It is on warm sunny days. The passenger side carpet is/was wet, so Saturday was a perfect day to let it dry out the rest of the way.

Were ya wondering why your decals weren't visible in the pics of my car? Well, it's cuz I just can't bring myself to put a purple decal on my cars. :-\ So my buddy McBrat whipped these up. Plus a few others I haven't decided on placement yet. Thanks for the custom lift kit man, I'm happy as hell. Happier when the thing gets on the road.
  4. I found this on my camera. Long arms are cool sometimes. Even Xoomer looks happy.

  6. Your best bet when wanting info about Delta Cams, would be to give them a call and get your answers straight from the source. I only know of a couple of folks who used their cams, and none of those have piped up here. I can speak for Qman when I say that the cams make a substantial difference. His little Brat is a screamer!
  7. My onld man is BBQing at his house this evening, staring at about 5 if anybody wants to show up early and hang out there for a little beforehand. I'm gonna try out the all terrains in the mud hole. The mud hole so far has been no match for my swampers. Guess I'd better remember to put a couple of straps behind the seat. Ken, you guys could do your decals before or after the meet at his house.
  8. I think what I might do is paint an extra set I have. Just blast them black on the inside. That ought to kill the glare.
  9. By shade, you mean "eyebrow"?
  10. Can you guys with Brats with t-tops and off road lights mounted on a roll bar give me some insight about your experience? Do they light up the dash too much is what I'm getting after? I kinda wanna check before I go buying a set and finding out the hard way. Thanks.
  11. Here's the fresh paint. Kinda crappy light, but you'll see it in person soon enough I'm sure.
  12. Bro's 6'7. He's actually fairly comfortable in it. We drove a gen one to Pat and Jerry once, drove a gen 2 home. He hated the gen one, but the gen 2 wasn't so bad at all.
  13. The kicker is that it'll fit under the canopy! Very happy to confirm that this a.m. !! Right ~ a country mile! Still no paint, it's too cold and damp today. That and it took all day yesterday, so I owe today to the family. And my Brother Marty, who did all the welding and to who I owe another big debt. (That old brat don't look so big next to old Marty now does it? lol)
  14. The roll bar was originally almost 7 inches too wide. So we cut that out of the center. Then we cut a slice down the middle and used the piece to sleeve the inside. (recognize the hammer Miles?) I had fun using the laser to first make the trace the lines we'd be cutting, then to line the bar up to make sure it was nice and sexy straight accross the top.
  15. Scored one from a For Ranger. Cut it down a bit and rewelded it. Did some fun stuff like hit it withe the lazer to scribe lines and stuff. Fun. My Brat is a happy Brat. Touch up and paint tomorrow. Alaong with more pics and narrative. This'll give an idea though.
  16. I didn't uz it was all gooey, so I used the one from the OBS I used to have.
  17. Perfect, thanks. I sent him the links.
  18. You mean to say that they would be longer or something if the car was lifted?
  19. Thanks, #2 is what I was after. 2 or 4wd xt6 plate? which clutch? I'm partial to the ea82 console swap. Looks nice and natural. But I'll give the guy both options and let him decide.
  20. Who knows what kind of stuff we can throw in the back on the hatch when I send it. . . ?
  21. I wanna help a guy out, but it's been 7 years or more since I did one and can't accurately remember how and what's all involved. Searched, can't find the write-up. Thanks. EZ
  22. I guess I got you confused with a guy in Shoreline who had a pretty sweet hatch, but was having some frustration with it and wanted to sell it. Anyways. Yeah, lemme know.
  23. Very nice. Like I said, aren't you glad you didn't sell it? So when are we gonna pose yours and mine together for a USMB super teaser? You're in Seattle, right? We both have imprezas and lifted ea81s, right? Could be a pretty nice pic.
