  1. How about at my Father's cabin in Chimacum? Lots of wheeling on the property and near by. Plenty of places to put up a tent. . .
  2. I tried that some time ago, on your advice. They were pretty upset, cuz of course I asked them if they match prices before I showed them the tirerack price. It was a whole lot of arguing and manager asking before we settled on a price. I did have to pay extra for shipping. The deal with discount is, they make all of their money on the install, and assume you'll buy a warantee for each tire. I still say tirerack and take them to your favorite local small time tire installer who'll take 40 bucks to put them on your car. Good luck either way. Les Schwabby is a good place to buy tires. As reference, one of the tires I had my buddy buy for his car had a flat a couple of days ago. They fixed it, even though he'd used "fix a flat" on it.
  3. Sounds awesome. How about Mid August at Evans Creek? It's pretty central, and has a camp ground. We had 25 Subarus last time we did this.
  4. I let the FAQ drop off to generate more conversation. It got so if anybody had a question, everybody would just tell them to look at the FAQ. . . A resourceful noob would use the search button. And, the 6 lug conversion is covered in the FAQ too. Where in Nebraska are you crazylong127? I have family in Lincoln.
  5. Rob. I have a donation for you. You can have these seats, you'll be very happy. And. They have a height adjuster so you'll be able to see over the steering wheel. And. THey're legacy seats, so they sit forward. Meaning you'll be able to reach the pedals too. :-p
  6. I prefer the Brat. I like the longer wheel base. As for departure, doesn't really matter, cuz they all have crappy approach.
  7. Don't worry. In a day or two I'll merge them all into one thread, then it'll be fun to read.
  8. We can always suggest a search. . . New conversation is good. isn't it?
  9. He asked for stickies. It won't hurt to leave them up till he either fails or wins his case. Our help is encouraged, the more this is visible the better. I'm all for him being able to bring his Soob to compete. Bring it in shifted in 4X. It says it right on the lever, the mudflaps. . .
  10. Ken's there a lot. If he'll pick them up, I can get them from him and get them to Tex who can probably get them to someone more North who can get them to you. . .
  11. It still here, a search for its key words or threads started by me will turn it up. I un-stickied it to generate new conversation on old topics.
  12. If it'll make you feel any better, we've beat the crap out of this topic in the OFF ROAD section of this almighty USMB. It's a sub forum of Motorsports.
  13. Happy Birthday Ed. A couple of more years and you'll be presedent of the OFRT.
  14. its tough to tell from the pic but the wagon had those donuts this pic was taken at the top of nachees in about 2001 his name was subiebeast he learned the hard way that they're not the way to go he bent a few of them on the trail but he also had a heavy foot maybe if you didnt drive hard on them or wheel them theyd be fine you know just park it in the yard and look at it so the wheels wont get bent that way
  15. I think there were 5 at wongleflute's, including Sister7's, a couple dropped off when we left for Golden Gardens.
  16. I'd post on teh other thread, but it's a pain to wade thru the conversation about how often Rob has to pee. Unbeknownst to us, it was snowing and sticking on the grass at my buddy's softball game about 3 miles away. Nuts. Can't. . .go. . .any. . . faster. . . they're. . . gaining. . .
  17. The correct term has always been "greasy wongleflute's".
  18. So. I'm keeping the 4X140. What's involved in swapping in an ej trans? Can I just swap cups, or do I have to cut an dsplice two axles together? Thanks.
  19. They're about 6 blocks from my house. Aaron hasn't owned it in some time, I'm pretty sure you either delt with Tom the owner or Lenny the other guy. And uh, if that guy that's coming today buys the brat and doesn't ask for the fenders that you're gonna haul for me, we can work a deal for the driver's side one for cheap. . . EZ
  20. Nice list. But I'd ammend the chain part to say straps and add a tree strap. Chaining up to a tree is a NONO! Here's the list I added to the FAQ I let drop for a while so new conversation like this can be generated. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=50958
  21. You'll have to count me out of a Walker Valley trip till Summer probably. I just don't have a weekend to spare for it. . .
  22. Good God! Everybody's B-Day is this month. Happy Birthday Bro!
  23. And here's a party to crash. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1495487
  24. Here's some fun stuff to discuss you RX owners. http://www.7tune.com/?p=91
