I Measured the Vehicle's Tallness from a Flat Floor to the Fenders' top middle (The Wheel well's top) on the four corners, riding on 25" tires: - The Rear has 28 inches, Carrying some load, such as a Full sized spare tire, three tool boxes, a medium sized fire extinguisher, an amplified SubWoofer, etc... (due to my own suspension lift, Details, photos & Part numbers ~►Here.) - The Front has 27.5 inches. (With the 2" SJR Suspension Lift + Ford tempo Coil Springs, see the above link for details.)

Inmediately after the Lift Kit install finished, I went to Test Drive the Lifted "BumbleBeast" to the Agua Blanca (White Water) Mountain: My "BumbleBeast" next to my Friend's Hyundai Galloper II Touring Wagon, Which is a Huge, nine seater, Dual Range 4X4 Turbo Diesel offroader. Guess which one has more Ground Clearance? ... ... Those EA82 models that features Power Steering, has an Steering linkage with a junction that has two Universal Joints, like the one pictured below; while those EA82 models with Manual Steering, features a junction with only one Universal Joint; keep in mind that I am referring here, to an EA82 with Power Steering, so the Steering shaft is joined with the Piece pictured below, which needs an elongation, if you install engine's crossmember Blocks. I Lengthened the Steering Shaft...
  7. Finally, I installed the SJR Lift Kit! Have you ever broken a stanley adapter, while tightening a screw?
  8. My BumbleBeast is Lifted! The SJR Lift kit (For the Front only) came to Honduras The Rear was already lifted using my own Ideas, look above at Post Nº 9. installed: Much more ideas and details, including a Special Rust-proof chemical Treatment, another Subaru model's Steering Shaft, that is a Direct fit without Modification for lifted EA82's, among many photos, can be found, ~► Here.

The Timing Belts on my "BumbleBeast" runs Coverless, since year 2009 I changed the Timing Belts with brand new, Subaru ones, in year 2009, as you can read further ~► Here, and I Left the Covers Off. I run them Coverless since then; You can read further information and see Photos, ~► Here. There, you can reach useful information about how to properly set the Timing, without having the marks that were on the back covers... Kind Regards.   10. "How to Rebuild Rusted Sheet Metal / Paint Preparation Procedures" When I Painted my BumbleBeast ... (that was Pearl White) ... in Yellow & Black, I used the same procedures I did in my other light yellow Wagon (The Wrecked 2.7) Except that the BumbleBeast only had Minor Rust spots, I don't needed to Rebuild rusted sheetmetal like is explained in the Detailed Writeup I posted. On a Front Wheel Drive -2WD- EA82 Subaru, you'll notice that the Rear Drum / Disc is held in place by a simple Nut which is prevented from spin freely by a Locking twistable Washer that Locks everything; Sometimes the worn Washer Breaks / Fails \ Loosens the Nut while the Car is in Motion, with all the Dangers it means... I Decided to get rid of the Washer Locking System, for a More Safer Option: I installed a Safer "Castle" Nut instead of the regular Nut; to do so, I Drilled a Transversal Hole to the Spindle, where the castle nut settled, to Cross both the Castle Nut and the Base with a twistable Nail. Such modification works identical with Drum or Disc brakes' setups. By the way, you can see how I redrilled the Lug Pattern on the Hubs of my "BumbleBeast", from 4X140 to 4X114.3 ... ... I did that since year 1996 in order to let my Subaru use more "Standard" Rims, it has been working Flawlessly since then; you know how hard is to find a good set of Rims in the original Subaru's 4X140 lug pattern, other than 13" ... only Peugeot & Citröen rims are rare-to-find alternatives; so I redrilled the Hubs and got rid of that problem, forever...   13. Misaligned pulleys? ... maybe it has a Loose (tensioner) pulley.
  14. Looks Clean, it will be a Good Engine once you put it all together... I Kindly Suggest you to Change the intake manyfold's Gaskets with Original Subaru ones during the install. Kind Regards.

  16. Well... As I Promise, Here is the Picture of my BumbleBeast's Front Strut: Ford Tempo Coil Springs on Subaru 4X4 Shock Absorbers, as you can see the Turns on the Spring. Kind Regards.
  17. This is the Clearance Between the Honduran Made two-row Radiator and the Waterpump's Pulley: Of course I Plan to Substitute the Stud Bolts with Normal Head Screws.
  18. Thanks! This is the 12 inches Brand New (chinese) Radiator Fan, very Slim: 1½ inches! 10 Curvy Blades for Better air flow, I Could obtain Two brand new for around $ 75.ºº Then made a metallic Frame for both to attach 'em to the Radiator. What do you Think about that idea?
  19. Yes, 10" is enough... I Run a 12" ... I Tried 10" too and the Difference is too Small to Notice; My 12" BoomBox has all the Hardware (Amplifier, Fans, Crossover, etc...) Built in, so it was Easy to Use & Wire.
  20. Thank You for posting those Pictures and Details, Your electric fans' Setup looks Great and Simple; I Really Like it. I only have a Question about this: By 'Switch' you mean: ► The Original Thermo Switch on the Car, that starts / Stops the Stock electric fan, isn't it? ► Or you have a manual rocker Switch on the Dash?   22. Found an aftermarket 12 inches Brand New (chinese) Radiator Fan; fast, powerful and yet very Slim... 1½ inches! The cost of two of those will Raise up to $ 75.ºº US Dollars, Plus I must build a Small frame to attach both to the Subie's Radiator... Could end costing the Same than the Toyota's ones, but those last ones 'could' have better Quality. What do you think about?
