Good Question!... I cannot answer it because as explained above, when I obtained the Tempo's Coil Springs for my Subie, those coil springs were Out from their car, the Vendor said the only information I got. Maybe it is a Fool Question but here it Goes: Have you already tried those Springs on the Subaru Shock absorbers? The Difference in Tall and turns is the Same I had when I Compared the Loyale ones against the Tempo ones, side by Side; the difference you might have could be just their diameter. Also, if they don't fit at all, maybe the guy at the Junk Yard sold me the Rear ones as you think... if so; I must correct the Writeup I done; so please I kindly ask you for feedback. Kind Regards.

When I was Hunting for New coil Springs for my Loyale, I Took with me, one of the Old stock coil springs and went to search to The Local Junk Yards. By the way, the Local Junk Yards, called here "Yonkers", doesn't carry complete cars, they have classified parts areas such like: Doors' Area, Engines' Area, Seats' Area, transmissions' Area, etc... as you can see pictures ~► Here. I Searched among a Pile of Strut assemblies in the Suspensions' Area, comparing each coil to the one I had on my Hand, taken from my Subie; that way I Found by myself that the Tempo coil Springs looked almost identical to the Subaru ones, they had just two more Turns and a were li'l more thicker. Since I Found those Tempo Coil springs already taken outside their car, they only had a Mark done with white paint marker on them, that said: '94 Tempo. I Asked to the Junk Yard's vendor about their origin and he answered that he knows only what each part says on their marks.... So, Maybe you obtained a First Gen tempo coil springs... or the white marks written in the ones I purchased were Wrong, I don't know... Could you post Pics with both the Subaru and the Tempo coil spring that you obtained? Kind Regards. ► Edited to update the Web Link

horrable rattle coming from engine??
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to danzick's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Key Words: That sounds to me as the "Tick of Death" sound like if your engine has a very Low Oil Pressure and / or is using a Monograde or thick oil. Could you let us know which kind of Oil is your Subie's engine Using? Maybe is time for a Engine internals cleanup. Kind Regards. -

Welcome. Pictures, Please! Have you asked to the Previous owner the Date of the Last Timing Belts Replacement? The EA82 Engine on your Subaru is interference free, but if they break you can end with a dead car in the Middle of Nowhere, so I Kindly Suggest you to keep in mind their Change interval. Kind Regards.

Weber benefits EA82
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to Moosen's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
All the Benefits are explained by GD very well. You can Use the Redline-Weber K731 Kit that comes factory Jetted for the EA82 Plus the EA82-to-Weber Adaptor included, as I Did. I Obtained the K731 Kit at www.webercarburetors.com Then I Obtained a TransDapt 2107 Adaptor (To use the Weber on a Datsun that originally came with similar -same size- Hitachi carb) and I Modified my Subie's intake, here you can see that: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=74206 From Post Nº 2. Kind Regards. -

1987 GL: Climate control issue
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to philipmorg's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
It is a Worn Relays issue, I Fixed that by Swapping the Old stock Round 20 Amps Relays for Standard Bosch Squared ones, 30/40 Amps. This Writeup might be Helpful: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=90403 Kind Regards. -

Oh! ... Now I Understand... :-p ...Thanx! -
Well... I Run my Bumble Beast with 5000K Dual Beam H.I.D.'s since 2008: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=89661&highlight=9104&page=8 I've seen here in my country, a Loyale with Round Headlamps on each side and a metal sheet around (Painted as the car colour) to block the empty space... and it didn't looked nice at all. :-\ About the High output 9004 Bulbs and the H4 Replacement headlamps, let me Tell you that the German Brand: Flösser Sells a Replacement bulb to fit the 9004 Housing but with the REAL H4 100/80 Watts output (and Filament placement as the H4) in fact is a H4 Bulb with the 9004 Base. I've posted it here many times but here it goes again: The 9104 "RALLY" Bulbs: Look at the Filament Placement on the 9104: it goes "Vertical" While the Stock 9004 goes "Horizontal" I Really Noticed a Brighter Lights with those, also those makes the Light to Reach Further. With those 9104's to import a H4 Headlamp doesn't have any sense. Look here: http://flosser.com/commerce/products/hb1-12v-10080w-p29t/?L=1 Kind Regards.

EA82 Side Mirrors ID
Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to 6 Star's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Early Models from the Third Gen Leone (Known here Usually as the "EA82" "GL" or "Loyale" ... ...they went to USA untill 1985) came with those Mirrors. My Wagons has them, just Look at the Pictures at my Public Profile. (Click on my Avatar) That design is due to the "Need" that subaru had to Keep the Glass Area as "Clean" (without Visual obstacles) as Possible, Because those Early Third Gen Leones came Factory with the Mirrors on the Fenders, for the Japanese Market: So, the 1985 (and some 1986) Models had that Design because their doors hasn't space designed for Mirrors. Well, Now I'm interested, Mr. President How much do you want for the Pair? Are those Electric Mirrors, isn't it? ... Mine's are Electric Mirrors that Stick out away from the Glass. PM Sent! -
