You need three things to make a motor work. Gas, Air, and spark at the right time. Have you pulled one of your spark plugs or wires and tested if you are getting spark? Does the motor not turn over at all or will it not start? Are you getting fuel in the carb? We need a bit more info. Welcome to USMB.

Electrolosis(sp?) Crap I don't know even know how to spell it!
7point62fmj replied to WRX2FFU's topic in Shop Talk
"if all they had to do was buy some TSP and dump it in, I think they would have mentioned it. " I guess I misunderstood you when you typed this. The link I posted talked more about using TSP if Txakura does not vouch for your interest level of using it. It also talks about battery charger selection too. -

There are a few states that have banned cleaners with phosphate in them I could only find one store out of 5 that had straight TSP. I am also not sure how you came to the idea that I was saying electricity was not needed to do it.:-\ Here is some more good info too. http://www.farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=47973&p=397473&hilit=electrolysis#p397473 Here -
I am going to take a look at this when I am not at work with the filters blocking the pics. Thanks

TRISODIUM PHOSPHATE Knowen as TSP. Is the best stuff to use. It is getting harder to find due to EPA restrictions. You can stil find it at Lowes. -
has any one welded their own. I just have a hard time paying 400ish for a metal A frame with a I beam bolted on.

so my ea82 waggon should have one.. that is funny.. it is the only one with good heat:lol: -
has never owned a subaru (other then the wrx) that has a over flow tank for the radiator. After two brats and one wagon.. not one tank. I am thinking part of my heating issue for my brat is that my radiator is never full.

When Subaru's get Jealous (Brat)
7point62fmj replied to FlyB0y's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
On my Brat when I would shift in to 2nd the lights would flutter and my gauges would go out of wack and the car wanted to die. I found out latter that the motor did not have a good ground and was ground via the motor mounts and they would move around during shifting. so I ran another ground and it worked great. Now mind you this would only happen durring shifting so checking it with a light would not show any thing while Idle. -
I do like the NT. The specs are the best for the money (350ish) and the warranty is better the HF. Read the reviews on Northen tools web site for a better feel of how others like it. This is my first mig and I realy enjoy it.Whith using pam cooking spray for the splatter I am still on my first tip. I know Mic has one too. Maybe he will post a review.. we will see. IF you have the money there are better units out there but that can be said with pretty much all things.

Weber Carb for a Brat
7point62fmj replied to Universeman's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
do a search for tunning a weber. It is not all that hard. I have two. One on a brat and one on a wagon. "I just purchased a 32/36 DGEV kit from Redline for $322 shipped" Och! New is nice but I got my last one from Jerry DeMoss with the anti-Dieseling and adapter and air cleaner for 250ish. He gets a price brake so if you need any thing pm him. Might be able to save you some money. Also the Mech linkage on the weber makes the car feel faster. -
