  1. CB radio and antenna for me went in last week with the dual battery and the battery isolator as well as 3 more sets of lights and a switch panel and a second volt guage for the extra battery.
  2. This battle is easy to win... do a search for seafoam on this board... Then read them.
  3. not offended but when a lift kit cost less then a x-box and a few games.. there realy is no reason price wise no to do it? Pluss most people could build there own small and use full home gym for the price of a x-box and a few games... yes.. I am offended by the x-box and what it has done to our youth.. slackersl:mad:
  4. ea81 factory skid plate... I do have ..might have rims too I am not sure if I want to part with the rims yet. Does any one have one 14 inch pug.. I need a spare
  5. Down load a copy of "how to keep your subaru alive" pdf (aka HTKYSA). That will give you a good head start.
  6. Dont laugh but you could also have a bad ground. My brat used to flicker when I would shift hard and the volt meter would jump around. The motor was trying to ground via the mounts I ran a new motor to chasis ground and it worked fine.
  7. How much do you want to pour in to this..? What are your hopes as far as HP? There is realy no simple route for this. Your going to need a exhaust setup for the turbo then an engine managment system and then a pipeing system for the intake and maybe some kind of inercooling. Your fuel systme will probbalby also change a bit. You might also have to reroute your cooling lines if you get a water cooled turbo. Then get ready to start braking parts. I dont know how much of the ea82T stuff will bolt right on but If you wait a bit some one will be along shortly to help you out. You might just want to look for an engine swap. Maybe out of a wrecked wrx. The easier route would be a ej22 swap.
  8. Good question! I have a bumper for you.. but you never got back to me. Mic what are you going to be driving? Also this would be a good time to pick up that motor. I also have a factory air box if any one needs it and some fun top glass and stock alt.
  9. I SHOULD be able to make one or two of thos days I will not really know till two weeks out. I might be inclined to have to split a sight (and cost) with some one since It will be a last minute thing.
  10. I used to have a copy on my desk top of my computer but I seem to have deleted it. If some one has a copy of this PDF can you pleas email it to. Specialist_ewing@hotmail.com Thanks. I know Miles fox used to host this pdf but I can not find a working link any where.
  11. Thanks for the input. I guess I realy only need them if I am under some thing I am welding. Save me some change. Pluss I already have a few projects I would like to get the jump on.
  12. Brats.. are over rated... well not realy there awsome. Hey.. does not your little brother have one or two...or some thing like that. You should show up and drive one. WELCOME TO THE BOARD Lets see what comes of this madness..
  13. FIRST i WOULD LIKE TO SAY WELCOME!! Next I would like to say I highly recommend you post any wanted items in the wanted section that way they will get addressed better and there is a for sale section too over there. Next as far as the whole Weber thing goes get a hold of Jerry DeMoss he sales rebuilt Webbers for a great price. He is the Weber ninja (IMHO) he can hook you up with a anti-dieseling solenoid and even order the adapter for you so you can use it on your stock intake so there is no need for a new intake. Do some searching on swapping in a Weber and you will have it down pat. Just make sure you plug all your vac lines and hook up some sort of return spring and your in like grape flavored gin! Good luck.
  14. I need to get some leathers and a angel grinder and a table vice... arg. I just recived some scrap metal this week to work on. I will let you know how it goes.
  15. You know when I did my orginal search for this, I looked it up on the genuine subaru part web site but it did not list my year. Thanks for the info. One more quick question do the ea81 and ea82 share the same spark plug. Thanks
  16. do you know it?.. I have a 85 brat and a 87 wagon.. Thanks OEM part #
  17. I bought this one this week and will be doing a review as I learn how to use it. I have a good friend that will be mentoring me on its application. http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200332691_200332691 Why did I go with this one. Well I wanted mig since it was supposed to be the easier forms of welding to learn. It also has the option of using gas and it will hold the 10lb spools of wire. It comes with a 3 year warranty and will let me weld Steel, stainless steel, aluminum. Gun uses Tweco-style replacement parts and for the price there was nothing else on the market that had all these options. Yes I know it is a chi-nee welder but with the northern tool stamp on it it hopefully will make it easier to find parts as well as deal with any foreseeable warranty issue. I will post some pics on it this week. I am really excited to get some projects started. My first lessons start tomorrow! I will keep you posted.
  18. This is one of those topics that the search button works realy good for. There is A LOT of info on doing this if you look for it. A simpler way to know if you have a ea81 or ea82 is this. do you have a timeing belt.. no means ea81 yes means ea82.
  19. I will be rebuilding my oil pump on my lifted brat next week. NOTE TO SELF Mcbrat probbably does not have a replacement if I bust mine. Yeah he is pretty great for spare parts. Even thou the 4 hour round trip drive is a pain in the bum.. bum. On the good side I will also be replacing the radiator as well as cleaing out the heater core so I should have more room to work on pulling the pump.
  20. I did mine it took some grinding. spend the 8 dollars for a Habor freight 3 inch cut off tool. I bought mine off ebay for 49.99 shipped. I figured if it was junk that it would at least cover what I would have to pay for core. you can see it mounted here. I was even able to use the factory belt. I will be doing this mod on my wagon some time in the future too.
  21. like.. What? You got a radiator over fill tank. you dont need that for the front wheel drive. This realy is in the wrong fourm to post parts for sale.
  22. Brent, I emailed you pics for the replacement bumper, If you come down here to get one I have lots of B grade dirt roads to play on!!
  23. here are some post http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/reviews/jacobs/ and 6th post down http://www.moparchat.com/forums/archive/index.php?t-89957.html Remeber they dont make this any more, Accel owns Jacobs an no longer makes most of the product line.
