96 legacy lift
i assure you that in no way is my car strictly pavement, i wheel it,have you ever been to montana-? the highway isnt paved here i work it, its seen 4 foot snow, ect. the car still has all usable wheel travel. im not denying that the lift doesnt stress the axles, what I am saying is that with neary 20k miles on QUALITY axles, off road, snow, everything, they dont so much as show a sign of wear- take that for what its worth also-i have 60 kits or so sold and installed, no complaints , no issues, no problem. surley i havent stumbled on 60 flukes

96 legacy lift

96 legacy lift
i have outback struts and spacers that i make and sell (1 inch) the axles in front are at a little more angle, but after 15k miles, no issues, im using new EMPI axles i installed at the time of the lift. no alignment issues at all, it was all returnable with the factory excentrics. i am not using body blocks at all, and ground clearance is amazing! i sell my kit for 175.00, with all hardware and instructions

i mean no disprespect, we all kmow the short comings of the ea82t, but i have had comprable success with a vf11, intercooler, and large radiator, it wasnt super fast, but it was fun, and reliable

Crawlerdan replied to Tmb9862's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXi did this last friday, i replaced that wit a 89-94 legacy piece that is servicable, as well as replaced all the bushings, it was cheap and easy......

Legacy vf11 into ea82t?
....and the people that say this dont pay attention to the obvious warnings- if you keep an ea cool, and dont overboost it, they are great, efficiant motors, is an ej22 better- yep- but some of us work with what we got. be nice to it and dont allow an over heat and youll be fine
-
Legacy vf11 into ea82t?
ive done it about 4-6 times, all times it was a great idea, i had an intercooler (wrx or saab) to help, but otherwise, just make sure that you are not supplying more boost then the ea can handle, and you golder, BTW, it bolts in

1998 legacy Straight axle build PICS ADDED 06-26
its a sway bar that uses a torsion spring from a toyota pickup and locking hubs to disconnect and reconnect. they work awesome with proper leverage, and are dirt cheap to make
