  1. thanks so much for all the replies guys. i was able to connect 2 coat hangers and slip them by the window, and then i was able to pull the lever to open the hatch:banana: thank god subarus have a inside hatch release thanks again:headbang:
  2. thanks, i'll ask around to see if anyone has a slim jim, if not, i'll have to try and do with the antenna. that or maybe try some other keys, not many older cars here though, and subes have real thin keys
  3. for the first time i locked my keys in my car:mad: whats the easiest way to jimmy the lock up so i can get in? i don`t have any tools with me, but maybe the anntenna will work? or a coat hanger? any suggestions? quick please, i`m stuck at school:-\

  5. Mary, your hyundai was a GT right? i have an 01 accent 5 sp, and its been a pretty good car........since i had to make my own wiring harness for all the lights, a/c compressor, and radio:rolleyes: not a sube by any means:lol: gets 34 mpg constantly so i`m happy.... i did beat a turbo conquest tsi out of the hole tho.....even though the back of his car was covered in oil and he was smoking like a civ
  6. can`t beat that price:banana: what are your plans for it? drive with the ea82t till it warps the heads after overheating from boost, or has major electrical problems, then swap in an ej22:brow: ? maybe lift:brow: diff lock too:D
  7. i actually think abs and jake breaks were great inventions............. i used to use my engine for breaking, now i've learned it just isn`t worth it. the cost for gas by far outweighs the cost of brake pads. i just use my brakes now.
  8. yea, its tough to tell where it is by the web site. looks like they're based in Monticello? that roof scoop on that imp is cool lookin too.
  9. definatly true, its tough giving brake checks in a new car. especially if you have abs and he doesn`t, then for sure your getting hit:-\ it wouldn`t bother me so much if i was driving an old honda or something..........
  10. i might take a trip up in the hatch. it will be on the road by next week:grin: how far is it from your place? i`ve never been to a rally before, how are they?
  11. its a win win situation...... you let the guy be a pain in the you know what and tailgate you everyday, or.............. you give him a brake check, yank him out of the car, beat the living tar out of him, and leave him on the road for dead, and you go to jail for it for assault:rolleyes: best bet, get his plate # and have the fuz rid you of this problem.......
  12. uhh, yea you can dude thats why autos have a lever that says drive (boring) or 1,2 (selectable) you can also kick them down by flooring it. for this idea, reverse would be a problem cause they don`t always go in. shifting while making a turn in 4wd would also be a problem. down-shifting would also be a problem. good luck with it, if it comes out, more power to ya;) i`ll stick with shifting/clutching by hand.
  13. kill that sob and be done with it. once it starts biting people, its time for it to die. incase you can`t tell, i hate spiders;) and bees and beetles and worms and grass hoppers and flys
  14. John! clear out some of your pm box, i can't get through, you exeeded your storage limit.
  15. pics: they are dirty, need to be cleaned/ polished, but there is little to no rash on any of them width compared to a size 12 shoe
  16. i can grab you a quick pic right now. i can`t sleep anyways:lol: (boring lazy day with all the rain:-\ )
  17. i`ve got a set of early gen 1 WIDE mags that would look sik on there. i'd have to get some money for them tho. they are like something you'd see on an old muscle car or something.
  18. come visit the east coast and i`ll show you some rust:grin: one thing that i hear is usually not used on the west coast is salt on icy roads. over here they lay it on thick, which gets caught everywhere on cars, and they rust like hell. after 3 years sometimes i`ve seen cars with rust holes already. we also have some acid rain issues. i can`t believe how fortunate you guys are. my hatch is from Puyallup WA and it is completly spotless:banana: i hope to keep it that way.
  19. let me warn you spark, if we do that some of the west coasters will be mighty upset when we fill up a 10 car semi with rust free subes of various years to come back w/ us:grin:  but seriously, i`d like to come one year:slobber:
  20. Paul, lets call it a plan:grin: in 07 or 08, i`ll follow you over to wcss9 or 10. that is if you are talkin road trip:brow:
  21. i`d so pimp that 10ft under:cool: i`d rather a brat tho:grin:
