  1. how about Jesse? anybody here from him latly? i probly can convince Chris Fishums with his dual carb racer white hatch and John (aka backwoodsboy) to come with junkyardbrat. i am also down to bring some food or drinks or cups or something:rolleyes:
  2. i think that might have some pretty bad rust underneath by the sounds of it. this imp had some rust along the rear wheel wells, but underneath was solid. i like Paul's t-wagon too though:D i just can`t cough up 1100 right now. i have to sell this honda i have sitting here.
  3. that hatch is sick lol i want it 13b= mazda rotary goodness:slobber:
  4. if i still have a suby by then, i`ll be there for sure!
  5. i like Paul's glf, but its auto, and fwd:-\ i really like that the imp is 5sp awd.
  6. i`ll try and get some pics, its got some rust, but not too bad. it would be killer for offroad with some forester struts.
  7. seriously, those black performance stripes running down the hood must add like 20hp to the thing, then you got that aerodynamic roof rack witch should increase your handling by 20% at high speed driving. then theres the weight reduction of 2 lost hubcaps and the broken corner lamp. plus the hemi stickers really set it off, those must have some function, at least 20 hp, and a gas milage reduction of 10 mpg nice racer!
  8. what he needs is 2 stacks made out of glasspacks coming out of the hood with semi truck baffles on the top:grin: that would be sick, and you would never have any more probs with rubbing....
  9. carfreak has done a couple ea81t 4 or 5sp swaps. actually, he swears up and down that his ea81t will hang with some of the best tuned standard ea81s, speed and reliability.
  10. huh, never made mine purple, but i usually don`t own cars that long. i usually don`t do it myself anymore, there is this mexican family down the road that tints windows for $20 each, so i leave the headache to them lol
  11. who here owns a high milage 93-95 imp? i am looking at a 93 awd 5speed wagon for $300, but it has 330,000 miles:eek: i`m thinking the life expectancy is about up lol. i haven`t been able to get in touch with the people yet, but the interior is nice (all power w/ air cond) tires and exhaust are new. haven`t even seen the motor yet. do you guys think its worth it. i`m almost thinking of buying it just as an expirament to see how many miles can be squeezed out of an imp. please tell your high milage stories:D
  12. its a pain in the a$$ believe me. your best bet is to LOAD it up with windex (the type with amonia) that way it will stay wet and you can get the air bubbles out with a squeegee. then let it dry for a long time so you don`t get any crinkles from rolling down the windows.
  13. oops, didn`t see that pic:eek: lol
  14. how much moneys did he want for it?? auto, or stick?? i can`t afford, but interested parties might be interested in those facts. it does look cherry tho:slobber:
  15. mmmmmn, mud:slobber: how'd the muffler get wiped?? lol
  16. yeah, walmart sells it, its in a blue can with a grey top and says "color place" or something on the side. i used to buy it because it was the cheap stuff, but it actually covers and holds alot better than the $4 stuff.
  17. did you use the walmart 99 cent equipment grey primer? if you didn`t, just run out to your local walmart, and respray it with that (light coats) that stuff covers almost anything:D
  18. i don`t know about new rav4's, but i had a 2000 4wd and the road noise was terrible, i hated that thing!!! got rid of it, and bought another subaru. did i mention the rav sucked in the snow i think the new rav's are bulky and ugly also. i`ll take a subaru wrx over a rav anyday and it would run circles around it.
  19. do a compression check and see if there is abnormaly low compression in any of the cylinders. if not, the problem could be as simple as a radiator or thermostat. it could also be more complex than that:rolleyes: it all depends on how cheap it is, if its over $500, and is likely to need a motor, i`d leave it, i hear those h6s are a real pleasure to work on;)

  22. i`m out, sorry guys, but i`m in if we set up a date a little later this summer.
  23. nice car, but this is the 3rd time its been posted;)
  24. a comparable ea82 wagon that runs usually ranges from $500-800, actually, you can find them all day on WA and OR craigslists, and the majority of them are rust free! hatches are hard to find though, IdahoJak, a member on here has a real nice one for $950 tho, its from WA, you may want to contact him......
  25. Connie, if you come up with a few hundred bucks, i'd be glad to help you find a cheap subie in CT or NY. maybe even 4wd:brow: running of course.
