like Skip said, its probly one of your wheel bearings, a cv would make more of a clicking sound.
-
someone on here lifted one like 3 inches, but you would have to make the kit yourself, or get it done custom. i`ll try finding the old thread.

sweet brat:brow: what kind of lift are you running?

hey man, sorry, i was out all day. it seems the best price i can find for a non running car is right around $900, i`ll look more, but if that is the cheapest, i`m afraid i too might be out of the running.if you get a local buyer, or someone else interested, go ahead and git ur $$, but i still am interested, just need to look for better shipping prices.take care, Jon

oh, there is no doubt its worth saving, but i`m not paying $1000 to ship a car with rust! for someone local with $500, what the heck, it`d be worth it. i have more pics that Andy took (thanks again for saving me alot of $$) the top of that fender is completly caved in with rust, and i bet there is more on the structure underneath. the hatch has quite a bit of serious rust, the bottoms of the fenders have rust, the doors have some rust light on the top, but bubbling up on the bottom. my bet is it has more underneath. i took a risk on that hatchback i bought, but now i`m loosing money on it because it really looks BAD underneath, now i`m sold on just cars with little to no rust. if i could get it for like $700 delivered to my door, it`d still be a done deal.

ahh it`ll buff right out:lol: -
how much $ are you looking to get? does it still have the rear susp and diff parts? do you know if control arms out of a 1980 ea71 hatch will bolt in? hows the tranny? i will have to search around for fenders, i`m sure they`re rare, but finding cheap ones is the problem. so the title is clean and clear?

nope, $500 is all i can afford. the deal is going through as long as the report from Andy (uncoolperson) is A-OK, i spoke with the owner, and already have all the arrangments set, just have to send the paypal after i hear more about its condition rust wise. i really prefer the 4wds, they have a different feel, less guts, but i like the feel of having 4wd at the flip of a lever.

http://seattle.craigslist.org/car/121340828.html LOTS of good parts there, someone get it. it has a rollbar, jumpseats, engine, interior parts.

What do you pay for EA-82 engines?
75subie replied to Hodaka Rider's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
not gauranteed to run, this is a u pull it yard price. usually, they won`t let you test run it either. your best bet when you are considering pulling a motor is to look for other things on the car that might have stopped it from driving (bad wreck, rollover, rust) if the body is in good shape, it could very likely be that the motor is toast. -
hay look the 1975 DL 1400 is back on ebay
