What do you pay for EA-82 engines?
75subie replied to Hodaka Rider's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
i usually just go when there is an engine sale like "any engine $40, or maybe $65" have got about 4 sube engines for those prices, regular price is usually $125 at the yards i go to. -
hi well, thanks to uncoolperson for taking the pics, i am in the process of buying this stage 1 4wd wagon. looks to be in decent shape, here are the pics.... it is putting me in debt to buy it, but i will have to sell off some things. what are the differences from stage 1 to stage 2? i know there is a couple of you guys on here with one (bajasubarunut, 75skunkaru, and a few others) Jon

no way a outback is under 6 secs, heck the new hemi chargers are like 5.4 secs. my bet is more like 8 or 9 secs -
4wd on dry pavement is very hard on your drive train, maybe not after a couple times, but after long term, i bet you`ll notice it.

i bought a 3rd eye to put in the 78, once i took out the grill, i realized it would take alot of fab work to do it. there really just is not enough room.

an ej22 is sooo much better

i`m betting alot cheaper. they don`t want old, high milage cars on their lot, the want the late model low milage stuff. i just looked up their website, looks like a big dealer.
