  1. does anyone make front and rear bumpers for brat my old ones are thrashed and id like to get some beefier ones
  2. pretty sure it's hitachi and one way to tell... the cap's are different i believe one is taller than the other. but others would know better
  3. with the aftermarket gauge ive only been able to get it to 214 on the freeway doing 75mph (btw its a auto so it's revving...) is this ok if it stays under 214.... new radiator, engine, hoses, thermostat, pretty much everything
  4. check the jets to make sure they are right (other people on the board could tell u better what jets to use) maybe rebuild it if it looks well used and u sould be good that is if they are more expensive then the redline kit
  5. and let me say the drive home from redmond on 3 cylinders was FUN!!! not.... got home my brother goes switch that injector out for another and bam peeerrrrrs like a cat but the injectors are finiky they'll be fine at one point and missfiring at another time:dead:
  6. all hoses were replaced ... i should go to schucks and get a gauge ... whats the max temp i want the engine to run at?
  7. what temp should it run at.... my gauge shows in the red but i can hold onto the hoses and when i shot it with my temp gun the temp wasnt over 200 degree's and my electric fan doesnt come on untill it's at a line below red leading me to believe it is wrong.... new thermostat fan switch and temp sender....
  8. Passed it's last emmissions test it will ever need in washington state :banana: :banana: even after sitting for 5 years... fired it up drove it to the emmissions place and passed with flying colors.... the guy there was amazed because it was running so rough from sitting
  9. depending on whe you live im in washington but i have silver rims with snow tires on with no rust you can buy for 100 btw they are 4 x 140 unless u have wheel adapters
  10. all spark plugs out fuel pump disconnected full throttle... did the ea81t pistons lower the compression more?
  11. i have a ea82t with ea81t pistons what should my compression be they are all even at 100 is that low
  12. maybe your hill holder is out of adjustment i had my loyale do that and it was a bad hill holder
  13. the car he wanted was mine but it has been completely parted out now...
  14. spolier and mud flaps all intact and look good i even think the front little rubber lip spoiler is good but dont hold me to that... it has good little i donno what you would call them the deflectors on the rear doors as well

  16. how bigs the car and how long do u need to store it i'll have a open spot after i send my RX to the crusher when im done parting it out
  17. why buy a adapter.... just cut the harness off the back of the stock radio and there u go an instant adapter that can be unpluged.... find the constent / switched/ ground and the speakers are easy to figure out i used the trial and error way but w/e
  18. last time i did this... and im not completely sure if you'll have to but i had to run new speaker wire because they share ground other than that find the switch 12v the constent 12v and find a ground and ur golden
  19. no info on the under hood ive got it parked so i dont hurt the rebuilt motor
  20. what should the timming be andwhat connector do i connect and it has vaccum advance... treat this like a carb version and disconnect it? and is half temp for a turbo car to high.. i have a new radiator on the way i was just curious... i have a factory t-stat in it and it just runs at half temp and 3/4 with the ac on... needless to say i dont use the ac
  21. got the engine running like a dream.... it had a bad injector that led to it running like S*** tons of power and it actually moves and does the speed limit now
