  1. Oh,man this rocks! And it couldn't have been better timing, either! THANK YOU!!!! I'm just now getting to this part!
  2. Any word on those scans? I'm about to do my timing belts and mine are whacky-lookin', too - just want to make sure I have this right ...
  3. Heh .. yeah - make it an armored vehicle with a hatch on top and a gun turret or 2 ...
  4. That's awesome! What kind of rims are those - what are they 15s? 16s?
  5. That isn't 2 different cars? ... or just at different times with different rims?
  6. Yeah, well, they also don't usually have a 30" stretch, either, hehe.
  7. That's Subaru's answer to the VW Vanagon, hehe!
  8. I remember running by this when I was looking for tired for my truck. But even that is approximate - tire sizes vary by manufacturer, also. A Michelin 165/80R13 can be way different then a Pirelli one of the exact same size. At least ...that's what my tire guys told me.
  9. Ahhhh ... now I think I see it - I was thinking more glass and taller pillars. Yeah - very subtle - almost looks like one of those conversion-van tops made of fiberglass that Ford used to make, just lots less. Looks like they just kinda cut the roof & added that cap ... but yeah - if you look closely at the white guy above, you can make it out. ... I guess we kinda went the opposite direction of "Lowered" didn't we? ... Sorry about that!
  10. Here's Mine ... Here's the other one... Really tough to tell ... Maybe.
  11. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!! Thanks, Man! No kidding? Wow ... that's tight, if you ask me. The only thing it'd need then would be some 5% window tint, and it'd be JUST my style. But then again, I'm a Beaner, hehe! Really? I didn't know they had those options ... what year(s) did they offer that?
  12. There are lots of services who do that - not cheap. There are also PEOPLE who do that for a living - you pay their as & a per-diem or a flat rate. Also expensive ... A 1-way airline ticket is often cheaper.
  13. I just took another look at that ... Are you telling me they use Subaru motors in airplanes? ...
  14. Wow, that really rocks ... I have to admit, I've always had a mental block when it comes to the online or CD stuff. I have a CD manual for my Vmax, and I really don't access it that much. For some reason (maybe it's because I'm just hopelessly old-school or something), there is just something about a manual in your lap, with greasy thumbprints on it ... I dunno.
  15. Personally, I think this one would look pretty hooked if it were stretched I don't know Photoshop very well, but I would imagine this would be tougher because of the background ...
  16. Heh heh ... yeah, I know. That's why I wanna see inside pics, hehe!
  17. Oh, I'd love to see pics of the inside of that stretch! hehe! And DAAAAMN! That white loyale wagon with the rims is SHARP! Is there soemthing I'm missing here, or is that just paint & rims that sets it off?
  18. Can you take any pics? ... that might help peeps see what's what in there ...
  19. Here's another video on the effect of seafoam on your dog ... hehe Sorry - couldn't resist!
  20. Here's an instructional video about the proper application of Seafoam http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6187290865726229173&q=seafoam Here are some other examples of people doing it in real-time. Here's one if you speak Spanish... There are lots of examples of what it should look like.
  21. By the way, they had a couple of the reman axles from AutoZone - I took them out of the box & checked them out ... not what I would think was good stuff ... the joint was sloppy & I could just shake it & it would wobble loosely. The shaft had nicks in it & was painted. I couldn't tell if they had been balanced or not. I'm waiting on the new axles from MW Enterprises - $240 for 2 of them shipped. Not the best price I've seen, but I'm told they rival the GCKs ... I'll report on them when I get them.
  22. It's been mocking me for a year, hehe. The light used to be on all the time - it was throwing Code 34 which is the EGR Solenoid Circuit, I believe. Went thru this ordeal of trying to reaplce various parts, all to no avail - finally gave-up & resolved to ignore it (and to clear it once every few months to make sure it's not throwing multiple codes). Evidently, the way to clear that code is to replace a reistor with a different one to "Fool" the system into thinking it's all-set. So now that it's off afte rthe power-washing thing, it's just a mystery to me. GD's explanation offers a reason why it stalled, but I am still stumped on the light. But I don't know for sure it went off when the car stalled - I was spraying for 5-6 minutes before it stalled, so things coule have been happening before that & I just didn't notice the light or something .. I dunno ...
  23. Interesting ... didn't really know it was that sensitive. I blasted a 3.8GM V6 for like 20 minutes today, hitting the control boxes, the plugs directly, etc. Wow ... It seems like you could easily splash water up there naturally with puddles or something ...
