ok so after debating on fixing the intirior already in it (which has been started i found a sweet intiror for my wagon its blue. the car was totaled so im pulling the MINT interior and puting it in mine i will get befor pics for it tomorow. Rob

well the biggest thing i have pulled with my roo befor i put a good clutch in it was on pavement a 3/4 ton chevy suburban died for a reson i cant recall but yea towed it a few blocks granted i was in four low and could only use first and second gear we did it. of couarse i do havea new clutch now so idk what i could pull.

heppens here to BTW did i sell the heads and lifters to you ? i cant remember for the life of me and have been wanting to ask how its going thanks Rob.

OMG Thats it as soon as i get my bills settled im moving!!!! i meen dont get me wrong but im tellin ya no one NO ONE in ellensburg wheels in roos exept like 2 people including me. i do like the coast and there seems to be oodles and oodles of soob wheelin overhtere maby even upper oregon. man this bites.

i agree the 4 speed is a good tight tranny but when in gear the shifter is to SLOPPY!!!!!!!!!!!

now that you mention it it is all greasy(coverd in tranny fluid and slege) ill have to check it.

hey my gf has an89 coupe and it has the 3at well it leaks idk where from yet but im gonna change the filter and gaskit if that dosent work is there anywhere els that they can leak from ?? TIA Rob.

hey as for youre ea81 to ea82 tranny thing it will work you will just need a clutch plated from an 85 subaru (needs to have 6 springs) because the standard 4 spring ea82 plate wont fit the ea81 flywheel and pressure plate.

have you checked compression i had this happen bad compression will make it not want to start (has to spin faster to keep presure up in the cylinders).

1980 subaru gl-5 wagon got it for free runns so sweet had to convert it to electonic igniton,and fix steering rack but ive gotten 30 mpg ever scince i got it.

so whats new with this?

i would just do the 2.2 swap IMO it seems way more common and the ej will be able to double if not tripple the power you could ever get out of an ea82t. Rob.

cold man cold. ok look on the front of the carb and next to the throttle plate there is a screw it when turned in idles the engine up then do the oposite to lower it. also look in the usrm. rob.

hmmm i fail to see the comfort problem i am a hefty 6' 5" and i feel great yeah one time i was driving for like 3 hours and i felt a little stiff but other than that nothing. still cant wait to get my hatch tranny in so i can drive it i like 2 doors they look mean.

indeed they are not covers they are wheels. the wagon is a 1980 gl-5 wagon. its my baby.
