Hey anyone know where i can get poly bushings for my car.. i bought it from rallyruss and it has everything except the swaybar bushings done to it and also i would like to replace the shift bushings... its getting annoying how loose it is! i am willing to get stock bushing from 1stsubaruparts.net i think it is but polys would surely feel stiffer

what about drivng to the trail... if you disconnect the driveshaft i thought it would but now that i think about it your right:banghead:

ok.. my car made a belt squeel noise before my tensioners went out started about a week before all hell broke loose.. it was really wierd i though it was one of the V belts but it not so.. well i dont know.. could be a subie quirk
-
Hey i was just wondering if anyone in here has had success with the lincoln locker setup... You know you weld (with your lincoln welder) the spidergears together to make it a full locked diff and you disconnect the rear driveshaft when you drive it on the street

super ultimate hp gain ground wire?
beataru replied to archemitis's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Mmmm toast.... Yeah the butt dyno is about all that these cars are worth but i agree 12 hp is notice able with the butt dyno but from a coulple faulty groundwires i dont think so... i think your electrical systems got bigger issues then a groundwire or two.. inorder to make that detriment to your hp -
What gas Mileage do you get?
beataru replied to Davalos's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
About the Topping off thing "THE GENERAL PUBLIC NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THIS!" It can harm the environment if your driving a 80's jeep! but what it really does is overfills into your charcoal canister and ruins it so your not getting any more gas into the tank, its being absorbed. -
New member, question about Legacy Air susp
beataru replied to jsin607's topic in Subaru Retrofitting
yeah these things are indestructable -
Yeah the flat 12 was one sweet cookie but thats oldskool and i wouldnt mind getting one of those but.... If i had billions of dollars i would build 2 H-6 engines one for N/A Power with rods like titanium and such internals and with like 15-1 Compression Ratio a and one turbocharged with a GYNORMAS front mount intercooler and like a GT50R or equal turbo and have that thing forged and boosted up to the moon!!! along with an extreemly high redline for both id say 8500 minimum... ahhh if all subie lovers had lotsa money... we would concor the world of autos! :slobber:

So would they fit in the bulb location or would i get an entire new plastic cover for the headlight?

Hey im a sucker for HID's (for those old folk the the blue xenon lights you see on richcars" I know there expensive and all but does anyone know if you can fit them from a newer subie onto an old subie like my Gl-10. If checked out all of the leading HID sites and they say NAY but cmon i know theres someone in here thats tried it before! just imagine..... highbeam and low beam thats worth more than your car!!....

New member, question about Legacy Air susp
beataru replied to jsin607's topic in Subaru Retrofitting
you should be able to fit on any suspension from that model line.. my knowledge is that you can bolt on almost anything from subarus old gen models to eachother same with new gen models! but Airride thats somthing that would be pimpen when your next to some punk in an escalade 'rolls down window' "hey can your boat do this?" -
yea i agree an ej would be the best bet to make power the ea71 engines are not strong at all! You could get forged internals if you went to a machine shop bought the chunk of aluminium or whatnot and made them but one piston would cost more than the stinkin car is worth! If i were u i would get an EJ 25 or 22 and drop some CP pistons in there boost it up to around 6 PSI and then see how you like it(im talking from experience my bros rs lost compression on cyl 3 i think... he jumped it up to like 9psi... it was because he already has an sti block that we are currently modding! then forge all the rest of everything and pusher up to a cool 18 on 92 octane  that babey would be soooooooo fast!!!

Just curious about the 360
beataru replied to Jellef's topic in Historic Subaru Forum: 50's thru 70's
i think you could.. its preety darn light and a bike engine would fit perfectly since i belive the 360 is a 2stroke engine anyways. "ignore me if im wrong" theres room for a small one in there maybe if you did some cuttin you could fit like a R1 engine in there hehehee wow! But if you do end up getting a 360 as a project car keep us all updated!!!
