westcoaststompers.com update
i just might be heading through your neck of the woods in a few months. i'm going to start working on lil' roo again early january. then by april may time frame i was contemplating driving through salt lake to visit a friend and then idaho to visit another... keep in touch and if you have myspace, that's really the easiest way to keep tabs with what's going on or anything in general. http://www.myspace.com/forum i've been off of most all forums, i find too many extra mods, and not enough money right now. and i'm not back home yet... i can't participate in anything... that and i've been spending any extra time in the dunes or under my nissan... i have to rebuild her engine in january, along with install a new tcase in little roo, and at least a new rear main seal... oh and a hub... and of course other odds and ends... talk to you later man.

westcoaststompers.com update
sometime during it. at the moment i'm focusing on getting my nissan and lil' roo up and going to drive them back to washington. i only have about 7 months till i move the first load of my stuff back to washington. so lil' roo is coming back first, loaded with my stuff. then i need to load the truck up and head to washington early july. then i'm back for good. how far i can get on the yota, depends on cash flow, and insurance money for all my dive gear, tools and other stuff that got stolen while i was gone. i got the dual tcases, twin stick, waggy 5 springs, 1/4 ellip rear springs, tires and rims, and the front locker. a few other things here and there. i'm looking into see if a friend of the family will help be do a 1/4 ellip and triangulated 4 link for the rear. if the truck ain't ready i'll still be able to take lil' roo out and take it easy. i want the yota done right before i start beating hard on her.

westcoaststompers.com update
sitting in washington. i still haven't even made it back there. but i'm out in 7 months and a few days. to start wrenching on it. i'm waiting on time and money. some important things came up, which took the money for the gears. so i'm hoping that i get money from the insurance company for at least a portion of the stuff that got stolen from me.

evans creek inspections!! info for wheelers, legal requirements
you can play all day without driving the roads up there. literally. start at the parking lot, run 311 upto the camp, cross the road to 520 and you can go to almost every trail in the park and loop back... need to go back there someday, after the truck is street legal...

evans creek inspections!! info for wheelers, legal requirements
not sure, in an article in fourwheeler last year, it had the listings for about every state. i'll see if i can find it. i know for the gvw of my subaru, it's on the border if not over. http://www1.leg.wa.gov/documents/wsr/1998/04/98-04-052.htm really good reading for building or lifting... found this site with some info about bumper heights and other stuff with modifying, ie vehicle requirements.

evans creek inspections!! info for wheelers, legal requirements
i don't know how many of you frequent other forums. but here is some info on evans creek. supposedly they will be doing vehicle inspections, and ticket non street legal rigs going into evans. i.e. bumper height, fender flares.... on down the line. http://www.nw-wheelers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=871

hand throttle
it comes in handy from time to time. especially in technical sections like rocks. ain't going to help as much on a steep muddy climb. more in the department of finesse and needing the extra foot.

hand throttle
off and on. a lot of the time it just chills there anymore. but like i was saying especially on steep climbs or any technical obstical on a hill, where braking and clutching is needed... it's extremely useful. it's more of a luxury than a definate need. but used properly it can be very helpful and save some headaches. i use it very little since i got the lower gearing. it's also effective with my doble t's for keeping a crawl pace on the trail. definately something you don't use everyday. upgrade to it and see how you like it. i love mine, and like i said, i love it enough i'm putting it in my new project rig!
