Hey there, I'm trying to find out who bought my car in Chico Cali. I sold it to a guy last year, and he had it up on craigs... i wanted to buy it, but i couldnt get my school loans in time so now its gone.. if you bought my yellow wagon from a guy named Rob in Chico, please let me know... I'd love to at least know where it is.... nad that it's in good hands.... plus, if you want to sell it, i will buy it for more than you paid.... let me know!!! '81 wagon with passing light. he just rebuilt the engine, put new brakes on, and a bunch of other work.... it has the original paint and interior, a white push bar, and black spray in bed liner in the back.... Please .... please help me reunite with my baby!!!

Also, The Quincy/ La Porte stuff is pretty close to you Reno guys/gals as well... there's some pretty neat old roads that will bring you down into that area.... HAYYAR FOR SCENIC DRIVES!!! I'm SOOOOOOO over interstate/free way driving!!!!

There is SOME good stuff in NEvada County... Mainly up by Grass Valley/ Nevada City that I know of... however, there's some Realy fun stuff up by Chico/Paradise and Even better stuff by LaPorte/ Quincy... all of which is not very far from the "Sac" area...

Ha- Awesome... I'll let him think about it fora wekk or so more.... then maybe he'll be willing to take what it's worth... i feel sort of bad, because he's gonig to end up losing money on it... but thats kind of what happens when you buy a car for WHAT IT'S WORTH and then sink money into it..... if you're gonna sink money in..... Be prepared to keep it! (that's what I say anyhow...)

Yeah, I just never EVER seem to find them!!! I've been looking for a good one for a while... last one I bought was a piece, so I REALLY dont want to end up with another one o f those!!

Subieman, thanks so much for going and taking those pictures.... saved me trip all the way to tahoe... prior to seeing it, I was going to try and get it for 1500, which I think is already way lower than the guy wants to go... he said he picked it up for 1200, then put on tires, radio, etc....So I KNOW he thinks he's got some really nifty car there now.... Oh well, I'll try talking to him on the phone I guess, but it looks like I'll just have to keep up the search!!!

YEP!!!! That's the one! How did it look? Did you get a chance to snoop around it at all? Think it's worth the drive up there to check it out? I'm sure I can get it for a little less than 2k, but i dont know that they guy will go below 1600 or 1700....

Just wondering if anyone's doing any wheeling in Nevada county... mainly grass valley area.... Just looking for trail updates and perhaps to set up a run....

lookin at an 85 brat. doesnt have a/s... (did any of them come with air? OR is thie probably the base model since it's sans A/C??) Anyays, it has the thing that says "equiped for optional a/c"... sooooo how much would it cost to get that going? Is it easy or rather tough?? please let me know, it will have a huge bearing as to if i buy this sucker or not... thanks!!

for future ref. if you go to the yard off of the skyways and tell the big guy at the front what kind of cars you need parts from, he's really cool about keepin an eye out and holding them back from the crusher.....Also, there's a yard out off of the 5 that usually has a ton of soobs. if you call out there, they'll give you a good idea of what they have, and the guys there really only care about "hard core wheelin" of yota's et, so they give you the parts of soobs practically free.....i know that doesnt help now...... but it might at a later date...

Hey all you guys up near Tahoe, I have a really huge favor to ask.... I am concidering buyin a brat thats up on south shore, but I have finals the next couple of days so i cant get up there to look at it myself. Would anyone be willing to drive over and check it out for me, see if it looks like a good car, see if you can spot any deal breakers on it??? I agree, I've finally gotten rid of all of my projects... now i just want one that RUNS from the get go! (well, I AM looking for an aluminum boat to turn into a little bass boat, but that's a different story)

OK, couldn't stay out of the thread any longer..... these are old, but it's all I can find.... Three year old mud is still mud.... furthermore, here's my dog after chasing teh car that was doing donuts in foot deep mud.... This one just makes me laugh because I SAT in that mud for a few minutes just to prove that the carwouldn't die (that was after the water was over the hood... the hole gets deeper).... So then I realize that my feet are UNDERWATER and that my door seals are SHOT and I've got like 5 inches of water in there.... pedals are underwater.... NICE

So it's taken me 4 years of owning brats to realize that the purpose of that little flappy compartment on the sode of the bed is a FLIPPIN STEP to get into the bed!?!?!?! Radical.....I always just shove dog treats in there and watch my dog try to get them out while laughing my butt off... who knew there was a BETTER use for it!!!

wondering about getting some original looking decals made for a brat... why in the world did brats ever come WITHOUT the decals??? They're SWEET! anyways, anyone making these or know where to get them/ the apprx. cost? Thanks
