aftermerket mufflers
well thanks, i actualy got on JC Whitney and found a cherry bomb brand Turbo II muffler, exact dimentions i need, size, and everything for $19.99, but then the problem. my dad says no, im 17 so unless i take it to school and do it in a day then he is gonna know. he said no because he says it runs fine, and i dont need to change anything. but oh well, what he doesn't know, wont hurt him.

aftermerket mufflers
ok who here has an aftermarket muffler like a turbo muffler, or a exhaust system that does not retain the stock sizing. please help me out, i read the article here and i want to know if anyone can tell me where i can get a muffler that will fit. it says 7inches wide and 13 inches long, and i cant find a parts store that carries anything that small. thanks for any help. by the way, i dont want it to really be any louder then stock, nothing that sounds like the rice rockets that drive around. so no glass packs unless you can post your settup and a sound clip and/or a movie. thanks. those with aftermarket decks
GoldDiggerRoo, hey just go to car toys and get a adapter that plugs into the stock harness, then wire in your new deck, and upgrade your speakers, i just did this and it sounds great.

undercarage
oh duh, im stupid, i was just looking at those yesterday, lol im dumb. oh well im taking my wagon to school today and putting it up on the 4post hoist and going to build cardboard plans for the SFC's, put in the strut tower brace, and make a custom exhaust.
-
undercarage
thanks, but im actually looking for pictures of just the undercarage, strait on or something of that sort so i can see where the trans X-member runs, where the sub frames stop, and how i could join them, etc, but that does help so i can see what each part looks like.
-
undercarage
can someone post some pictures or a link to where i can see the WHOLE undercarage of a EA82 wagon. i want to build some subframe connectors, box some of the suspension, and do a few other things, so if anyone has any pictures of the undercarage please post them. prefer whole car, but if not sectionals.

Strut Tower Braces
i can try to find some, but ifso then the price will go up depending on the price i can find it as. i did mig wire feed with our gas lincoln 175amp welder at school. im more used to building exhaust systems, not this miticouls beatiful looking welding. i did for my X-mas presents but that doesn't count because its been like 3 weeks now and i suck again on the beatiful part, strength is there.

3, maybe this one will look better for you guys. they are VERY strong welds, i can grind them smooth for you, your choice. i cant paint almost any color, and try to do any bend, shape you want, connecting anyway you want. but again this will all cost more. paint, other then black or n/a is $5.00 grind welds is $5.00 complex bending, like all the way around the spare tire, $30.00 strait or slight bended $20.00 PM me and we can talk about what you want, also im thinking of picking up some metal to build some sub-frame connectors. because form what i saw from taking a quick peak is it a sub frame car, can someone please tell me if it is full frame or sub-frame, because if its sub then i will also, hopefully, be making some SFC's to stiffen up the car even more.

ok, here are the pictures. best i can get until i paint and mount on the car. i again threw this one together in like 10 to 20 minutes. thats why its so crappy looking, it was just a trail fit and strength test.

oh and by the way, in the picture that i added, should i mount it like the chalf outline is on the left 6tall, 9 wide, or stand it on its side so its 9inches tall by 6 wide.

ya ths funny, i have the auto pull down option on my subie. you push the door up, it stays up just fine, you tap it, it slowly shuts by it self. ill just go measure the length and pick up a pair used for like a chevy truck hood or something. so its used to the added weight.

Strut Tower Braces
incorrect, i built a prototype today, i have a hitachi, and its fits with plenty of room tog et the spare in and out, the vehicle i tested it on was my friends wagon, he bought it before i took it home so i couldn't get pictures. fit perfect. and i decided im leaving my sparetire in the back of the wagon, so i made a strait round tube one in like 15 minutes today. i just was given the wrong mesurements by my mom, she said 35 and 1/8th when it was actually shorter, so i am going to redo it tonight and make her fit, even though its raining, and try to get you all some pictures, now please understand, mine looks like crap because the shop saw brke the last blade, we where running low on gas for the welders so my welds look like crap, and i had to use an acedlyine torch to cut it because the ait compressor is still in the shop so i couldnt use the plasma cutter.

i did nothing but cut thout the stock speakers and splice in the new ones using the stock connector on the doors, and just plugs and spliced the connector tot he cd player. been out in my car, since 10pm, not 11:30pm listen to music, sounds sweet with the 2 pioneer 6 1.2's and the 2 front stock speakers which i still have to replace. i just cant wait till i get my 6X9's mounted to the rear gate, should sound much better. but it ends up the deck i have is too long, it sticks out like an inch too far, so tomarrow im gonna make a 16gage sheetmetal holder at school. and bring it home, that also give me a place to mount my toggle switches, for my turbo, interior lighting, and other stuff.

thanks for all the help, i ended up calling car toys and they had one adapter left in the back corner, covered in dust, im serious, got home and spliced it tot he new deck and plugs it in to the car, bingo, all works and sounds great. i just have to go get some new pioneer speaks for the driver and front passenger door and run some wire to the back hatch where im mounting the pioneer 6X9's
