roo, see thats why i wanted LSD, because then i can romp off road, but then drive home, im too lazy to pull the axel every time. so it looks as if im finding a 3.9 LSD now.

well i jsut want spfi for now, and turbo, long down the road, my dad would find out and kill me, because i promised him that i would TRY to not mod this car too. lol. dont i just need the ECM and enging wiing harness, as well as the SPFI system, bolt and go?? because my car has the ECM now for the carbed engine, and i was thinking of pulling the carb harness and ECM and swap in the otehr, plus the other SPFI when i have it together. i was tinking it was strait forward, and not as complex as a chevy V8 carbed to FI which ive done many a time.

ok well im cheap and trying to save money for college, and i just want a blinking LED, it worked in all my other cars that i had one in, but the problem was that i had someone else make it for me, and then when i sold that car i took it uot and put it into the next. and because i forgot to take it out of my camaro, i couldn't put it into my truck which was broken into and had the stereo, tach, and a bunch of other EXPENCIVE things stolen. so if anyone knows how to make one, please give me a heads up. Thanks a bunch Shean -
roo, also ive checked your web site to se how to build that darn lincoln locker, and the link doesn't work, so if anyone can get me the plans i would b very greatful. but first i got a question, is the lincoln locker like a chevy or ford locker and lock the rear wheels so no matter what they turn the same speed, even when not in 4WD? because i want something like a LSD, then when wheelin, or rally'in, or autoX'ing i want it to lock up for more grip.

well when i am done i will look like an auto X'er, im building custom sub frame connectors, boxing all the other stuff, making custom sway bars that are MUCH larger then stock, also replacing everything with polyurathane bushings. so it will be ably to out handle almost any car out there. also front and rear coil overs that im gonna make also. well i wanted front and rear LSD's, or LSD in the front and a lincoln locker in the rear.
-
yep no LSD, i went ut and wet down the streep, smoked the TIRE, so yep, i got a one tire frier, so looks like im on the market for a tranny swap.
-
not all true, 86 GL, cloth interior, mud flaps, and console that has the arm rest. all factory parts.
-
ok how do i find out if i got a LSD in the front end, and if i dont, how do i get one. do i pull it uot of another car, or change tranny's, or what, also how do i find out if i got one in back too, also find out what gears i got. Thanks Shean 1986 Subaru GL wagon 1.8lt 5sp D/R

ok i finally got off my lazy arse and got it finished, been bussy at school and such, so i had a friend help my out, he drilled the wholes, grinded the botom of the mount to fit the strut tower, and bolted her on. sorry for the crappy pictures. still got to paint it. but you get the general idear.
-
lol, that was pretty waggish
-
ya i put it vertical, but the funny thing is that it is actually about 2inches higher then my rearend. so im not worried about taking it out on a speedbump or anything, plus this isn't going to be off-roaded, this i want to make handle. i want to get a older hatch to build into a off-road beast.
-
calm down there a minute, for one i was refering to holding it up at the tip because it tends to hang a little lower then stock, so this will brint it back up to look stock, not to hald it to the car, thats why i have the stock hangers welding on my muffler, which i re welded and ran a full bead around today at school. so calm the frick down man. take a step back before you start freakin out and re-read it.

dam soul stealers...

yep no problem, i just welded the extention pipe, and the mounting brackets, you can use bauling wire i guess for the mounting brackets, and use 2inch clamps to secure the muffler and extention pipe. i used a clamp on the stock pipe to the new muffler so that i can run strait pipe when i change the adress to my grandpa's PO box where there are no emisions.

Who belongs to this subaru?
The Scooby replied to Snowman's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
ya thats a bad arse decal, i want that for the hatch im trying to find to beef up. -
PS whats with everyone standing infront of their car with their arms crossed???
-
dont mind me, i was pissed at the time, camera and weather weren't cooperating.

Today i finally got my new upgraded turbo muffler. when i cut the stock piping i craked her up and i have to admit, along with everyone in the auto shop that is sounded like a V8 at idle, and all through the revs. then i clamped on the new 2inch muffler, welded on the brackets, one decided to not hold for some reason, must be the coating on the muffler, welded on the extention, and i was golden. sounds almost stock but a little deeper at idle, and sounds sweet when revving it.
