ok i finally got off my lazy arse and got it finished, been bussy at school and such, so i had a friend help my out, he drilled the wholes, grinded the botom of the mount to fit the strut tower, and bolted her on. sorry for the crappy pictures. still got to paint it. but you get the general idear.

Finally, new exhaust
lol, that was pretty waggish

Finally, new exhaust
ya i put it vertical, but the funny thing is that it is actually about 2inches higher then my rearend. so im not worried about taking it out on a speedbump or anything, plus this isn't going to be off-roaded, this i want to make handle. i want to get a older hatch to build into a off-road beast.
-
Finally, new exhaust
calm down there a minute, for one i was refering to holding it up at the tip because it tends to hang a little lower then stock, so this will brint it back up to look stock, not to hald it to the car, thats why i have the stock hangers welding on my muffler, which i re welded and ran a full bead around today at school. so calm the frick down man. take a step back before you start freakin out and re-read it.

Finally, new exhaust
yep no problem, i just welded the extention pipe, and the mounting brackets, you can use bauling wire i guess for the mounting brackets, and use 2inch clamps to secure the muffler and extention pipe. i used a clamp on the stock pipe to the new muffler so that i can run strait pipe when i change the adress to my grandpa's PO box where there are no emisions.

Who belongs to this subaru?

Finally, new exhaust
Today i finally got my new upgraded turbo muffler. when i cut the stock piping i craked her up and i have to admit, along with everyone in the auto shop that is sounded like a V8 at idle, and all through the revs. then i clamped on the new 2inch muffler, welded on the brackets, one decided to not hold for some reason, must be the coating on the muffler, welded on the extention, and i was golden. sounds almost stock but a little deeper at idle, and sounds sweet when revving it.

Arizona desert
ya im going to UTI, thats why im moving, but i guess i will just keep my subaru registered up here at my grandpas PO box where there is no emisions. then just toss on a weber, and go with the turbo muffler, maybe that cam too, gotta look into that.

ok great thanks for the heads up. but also my grandparents live in san diego, so if i need anything my grandpa drives up to seattle and back every few months to check up on his houses and such, so i could have him grab the parts, plus he has 2 extra motors and a 86 4wd tranny with dual range. and ya i will be there for atleast 21 months because thats how long my college lasts for me. but if my fience goes she will be attending the art institute of phoenix which is a 3 year school, and if she does then i will be down there until the graduates. so most likly i will be there for a while.

well my EA82 is going to get a weber, im going to port match the intake, port the heads, get a custom cam for a higher powerban pull like from 2,000 to 7,000. ive built man engines for my VW bug i had, i actually got my bug to run a 12.6 in the 1.4, a twin turbo 2100CC motor. that was fun, doing a launch o the street, on street tires and lifting the front wheels for about 40 ft. and yes, i would weld the rear, and run single echaust, better because less things to rip off the car, lol. my ea82 might get duals, but probally just a turbo muffler when im done building it.

well i was thinking about gettin another wagon and just keeping my EA82 wagon stock for a daily driver. then get like a 80 or 94 wagon with a D?R trans, manual, put a weber on it along with dual exahaust, chop the fenders, i got street signs and bunches of steel to make skid plates. what year/engine/trans combo should i look for in a car to build. and by the way, Rooinater, your car is just plain bad a$$.

Arizona desert
well as some might know i am moving to phoenix arizona in july for college. and after seeing some people's cars, like the rooinator and such, i was thinking of lifting my 86 EA82 wagon and putting on some tires that can get me in the back desert in the sand and play a little. then also when i get back to take the muck trails my old trucks i had used to conquor. so if anyone could give me some recomendations, for instance maybe a different car, or if not, what to do with mine. but keep in mind, this car will have to be a daily driver, pass emissions, drive from seattle to phoenix more then a few times with no problems, and still be plenty capiable. thanks.
