  1. The only thing I would be a little concerned about is, if the old NES electronics will be able to take the heat of mid-summer in a closed up car...? It wasn't made to sit in 160+ Deg F.
  2. There also should be a large rubber plug under the dash on the firewall (By the brake pedel) make a slit in it, feed the wire though then just use some black RTV to seal it up.. You can always drill a new hole and put in a rubber gromet as well. Cheers.
  3. Trashwagon is all about Innovation and Utility, being Capable and Able.
  4. All I did was tap into the power wire from the center console light where the gear selector is (Since it turns on and off with the parking lights) I'm not sure if MTs have a light of not. You could also run power off the Ashtray light since that also turns on and off with the parking lights. Then just ground it to an existing screw in the floor board and zip-tie any extra wire up under the dash - and whala! you have floor lights.
  5. White is always cool. The Power Coating place should show you all the shades of white aswell, You could go with an offwhite so its not so "Aahhh"
  6. Wired up some Blue LEDs in the footwells under the dash, Looks cool!
  7. Rigged up some Blue LEDs under the dash in the footwells today, Looks cool! I have wired up more stuff this past week then I have in the past year.
  8. Well try to get the most out of it, either way your gonna come out ahead (Even if the car wasn't as perfect as before)
  9. They may say its totaled depending how much they say it could cost to repair it, in that case - they would cut you a check for the full Blue Book Value (Lets say $2300) you will get $2300 and you still keep the car, they won't take the car or junk it as its yours. so you could take the money they give and fix the car for cheep on the down low. Thats what I was gonna do with the Legacy if the guy would have had insurance.
  10. I know this subject has come up once before (If not more) there is a company that makes new gaskets from what I remember - but the name slips my mind. But couldn't you just use some Black RTV around the entire backing?
  11. Just keep in mind, with the Split-spokes being 15" - you are going to have less tire to protect the wheel if you are to drive anyhwere offroad. the biggest tire you could fit without a lift and chopping the mad outta your fenders would be about a 25" o.d But I too like the Split-spoke wheels! Flat spokes look cool as well. Cheers and have hunting!
  12. That does suck dude, That paint was pretty damn nice after years of being primer. Well since he was driving a Company vehicle, he may loose his job and TWC will pay you for the damage (I say it looks like $1500 worth of damage ) I do know the feeling though. That hood looks tweeked, Is the cowl up by the window bent?
  13. Nope, thats just how they are on the 2nd gen Legacys. The screw holes wouldn't lineup if I turned it the other way.
  14. I don't think the backorder is affecting the 27x8.5x14 size as my buddy just got a set. There could be a backorder thing but most of the tire chains could have an overstock of the 14s. Thanks for the added info though!
  15. Nope, not pre-wired. I ran power from the center dome light. The mounting screw holes are in the chassis though. The Legacys did also come with Maplights, The outbacks had a larger headunit/maplight deal that says (Outback) Really only took me 10min to put this in.
  16. It could be '87 - newer. Heres MilesFox's '86 GL Carb EA82. The rear bumper is shorter.
  17. +1 I love it cause it does't have any decals, clean! Roll bar looks good there.
