  1. Subaru uses a Spray adhesive, and I used something simular from 3M. Works great. Make sure you are to cut the new fabric to the same shape you are working with, don't make a square or something other wise you'll get bunches and such
  2. If no one on here has it, I'm sure someone on the Legacy forum does. Maybe try a search engine with "Subaru Legacy FSM PDF" or something, google does wonders!
  3. Check these out. $150 + shipping. 14" Alloys like what Scott has.] http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=116712
  4. Holy Hijacking Batman! Shush up now Ken, thank you for pointing out the bumper (Missed that) -Tom
  5. Took a drive today - Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkq9kmYu0eA Also hear are the Camo door cards on TW10. Enjoy! -Tom
  6. Its fun to drive Slow cars fast, rather then Fast cars slow.
  7. It could be an '86 which would be Carbed, I like the Root beer color as well. MilesFox has one ('86 GL 3-door Carbed with 4WD swap) Its pretty cool car in my opinion, something somewhat unique, being a 3-door and not an RX.
  8. Yea either DL or GL 3-door aka Runabout. Its gonna have a carbureted EA82 engine (About 80 hp) $450 is a good price, check for rust on the underside uni-frame rails. It can be swapped to 4WD if you get a 4WD transmission and 4WD rear trailing arm assy and diff. -Tom
  9. You could also go to a Junkyard (Auto Al's out on 00 aka old 45) and get some Chevy 6 lugs and redrill them. Some more options. And yes, finding some pugs for $100-$200 shipped isn't something rare. They pop up on here
  10. He had insurance up until a week before he hit me, pollicy was terminated cause he stopped paying for it. SO yep thats the case Lol. Yes - A Bug's Life. As for Caroline, I like when her brothers braces start taking over his face Lol!
  11. Maybe if you would have stated that you sold one Subaru to get back another, you wouldn't have gotten all the flack. As for Hands on work log, I just got done re-freshing an '87 XT Turbo (Monster Wedge). New wheel bearings all around, rebuilt axles, Hybrid KYB adjustable coilovers with ground control springs for the front and rear, interior swap. Some time in the coming weeks I will be dropping in an EJ22 in place of an EA82T in an '87 Turbo wagon, So I have no need to prove my experience to you.
  12. Yeah 27" will induce rubbage, Those tires in-fact would fit on my Legacy perfect! I will also keep a look out for some Pugs for ya, about whats your price range?
  13. Ben, Check this out. These are 15" Alloy spoke pugs, 15"s will also fit with out a lift or cutting your fenders, you'll just need a slightly thiner tire, but 15s will really open up your tire open drastically! http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=116528
  14. Wired up Baja lights today along with re-warping the door cards with Urban Camo. Rollin' urban camo yo! ________________________________________________________________

  16. Ben, You are not gonna find any Pugs in a Junkyard around here in WI. You best bet is to look at the for sale section on here and have 4 of them shipped. I got mine from IA, shipping was about $50. I only paid $50 for the wheels ($100 total) plus $300 for powder coating Lol. And no, you won't have to lift the car any if you stick with anything under 25" O.D - but you could fit 28"s in there if you wanted to hack the hell outta both the front and rear fender arches :-p One tip on buying pug steels. Don't buy ones from a Peugeot 504. The steels have a strange center and most shops can't balance them. Also there is another pug steel that is 14.5 - you will not be able to find a tire for that here in the states. Make sure the rims are off a 505. Hope this helps.
  17. Sold it.... Thats just bull. My '95 got crashed into, bent control arm, damaged hub, bent tie rod, fender/door/headlight were gone. Leaks anti-freeze and oil, Wheel toe and Alinement is not perfect, running on a used waterpump and timing belt that was found in Fox's garage from a past replacement on some other EJ22. Do you see me giving up? And no, not all cars with give trouble, my EA82 has never ever let me down, nor has this janked up EJ22 Trashwagon10 - guess it depends on the owner... Hydraulic clutches are not that bad (All newer subarus have them) If you want to be a Subaru guy, you have to roll with the good and the bad. .02
  18. You really are not going to find anything of an A/T tire in 13s. You can try looking at Sam's Club and see what they have for 13s. But as you know, these are becoming obsolete. You could also look at a Wal-mart Super center and see what they have for 13s. Uniroyle's are a decent brand, try to stay away from Douglas (I had some Douglas tires on my EA82 before I got the 14" pugs) now those tires are on Desmonds old GL. Good luck.
  19. This is a nice looking Brat, its very clean and very basic and it looks awesome! -Tom
  20. Wow that looks great, gonna astroturff the plywood eh. (Like the Brady Bunches Yard)
  21. What about the trunk of an '89 Tempo? But yes, WI is ok with it as long as there is a safety restraint in place. Looking forward to seeing the seat in there. -Tom
