  3. Oh I see, I'll have to see how that works - thanks! -Tom
  4. That Cat code came up again today, So how can I fix this? Dave, Kyle, anyone?
  5. This would require a lot of prep work in order for the new lacquer not to fish eye or just flake off months down the road, plus you would need ot mask everything off, thats some intensive work I think lol.. But it is an idea non the less.
  6. Mine came with new studs (Didn't use them) 6 bolts/nuts/lock washers. Thats enough hardware to replace the cat bolts and such.. I only used 2 bolts/nuts/lock washers too.. My filter indeed was hitting, I crushed one side! Lol..
  7. I believe the paint on the newer Soobs has the clear coat mixed with the paint (Like Toyota does) Have you tried waxing it by hand? try Mothers california gold cleaner wax. Rubbering compoud should be used as a last resort if at all. -Tom
  8. Yep, as long as its Duel Port it will fit. If your engine isn't Duel Port - just get a giant drill bit and make it so:lol: It is hard to find a UEL header for a singal port, :-\
  9. I will have to get some footage of this thing soon, I will also get a picture of it with the Genuine filter.
  10. I like SUBRDAV is the best I think.
  11. Removed Rack to repaint it, Still rackless as its been raining all day today..
  12. Jacob, Yep sure did. I went to the dealer and bought a genuine Oil filter (Honeywell) and now I have a nice bit'O clearance around the filter now tricked919, Sorry to hear they were able to find you a good pipe since you lost out on a custom made pipe. But I will tell you, the UEL pipe is a good idea - it does increase power bar non, I feel it big time! Dave, yea thats true. But at least I was able to fix the Fitment issue. I was sooo please when I put the new filter on. -Tom
  13. My Subaru dealer is only 1-1/2 miles from me and they don't even know what my car is, they think its a Legacy untill I tell them, then they are like "Eh..?" Plus they can't get anything without asking for a VIN, I dunno... Some dealers are nicer then others I guess..
  14. The ends where it pops in are a little different, It might still work though from what I remember seeing. -Tom
  15. Do you have a patch over one eye? LOL! Yes weird rump roast question
  16. In WI, they don't test anything older then '95 (Due to them no being OBD-II compliant) BUT my car is OBD-II compliant, so its kinda funny Haha.. But anything '95 or older they don't test. Thats why I took this one instead of the '96 Fox picked up.
  17. I think its the emissions system needs to catch up and adjust, cause this new more UEL header is going to change the emissions status. Hoping it doesn't come back (I'll just pull the Engine light bulb if so LOL!)
  18. Yep, just got this today. Its the "Catalyst error code" P0420. So I erased it and we'll see what happens. I think the system needs time to adjust to the different emissions that the header is causing.
