  1. Holy crap! Thats cool! Is it AT or MT? Anyhow, I wouldn't be concerned about this little fluctuation.
  2. How many miles on the car? even reman aftermarket ones should last pretty long.
  3. I have Fel-pro cam seals on the EA82 and haven't failed yet. Fel-pro is worth it, My dad has always used them on the V8s back in the day and he never had an issue. Plus these are just manifold gaskets (Not a real big deal)
  4. Well, good luck at the Stealers "Cough, cough" I mean Dealer
  5. I don't think I would worry to much about that one time fluctuation. You alt could be showing age, but probably nothing to worry about at the moment. If anything, it could be the solenoid (Which is built in) My Legacy has the Original Alternator with 207,000 on the clock. I agree with the battery terminals, check'em and clean them if needed. -Tom
  6. Nope, no fuses in there. You might just be feeling a plastic lip of something. The fuses are all under the dash on the EA82. Also, the two nuts that holds the whole assembly to the gate are 10mm. Also be carful not to over tighten the two screws that hold the small cover on - as they only screw into plastic.
  7. Well we host meets alot (Or at least I do) MilesFox is another cat whom you are always welcome to his house. He's on the East side of Milwaukee (Close to River West area) I'm out in Waukesha and am always all over Waterford, Big bend, Muskego ect.. As for finding a GL wagon with D/R in WI that isn't rotted to hell, good luck. I have seen a few pop up from time to time on Craigs list, but not often. Also, on the 19th at Subaru City on 27th st in Milwaukee they are hosting a big Subaru meet. They start at 9am on Saturday (19th) so maybe we'll see you there -Tom
  8. Kyle, What type of camera did you use to take that picture? Its really clear and looks awesome. How many magapixles? Mines a 7.1 Fuji S5700 (Which is a great camera) just wonder
  9. This is a nice looking Legacy, White with the black bumper guards looks nice (European style)
  10. Yea, just make sure its for a N/A EJ25 (2.5RS) and you'll be goos to go.
  11. I still think the RS looks better then the '07 STi.. But its still a Subaru
  12. I think the brown looks good, Its called Rootbeer or something IIRC..? MilesFox has a 3door EA82 that color, looks good. -Tom
  13. I've never been to Fleet Farm, theres one out in Germantown by 45. Ben, I don't think it'll "hurt" the resale of it - as no ones gonna know its been repainted. It matches the seats now Plus before there way to much black, the interior feels more open and lighter now
  14. Whoops I miss understood when you said "We own our house" well just wate till you can refi and get it down to a 15y morgage (Like we did) payments are cheeper and its half only a 15 year! Now that you have laided your lift storie out there, lets get back to the STi! Is that one your getting blue? Still can't beleive you'd sell that RS
  15. Yes but old Subarus are cheep, Both mine only cost me $500 each But thats true, don't waste money on crap you don't need!
  16. WTF! you have a RS, Accord, Legacy wagon now and soon an STi and your house is paid off. your only 22 for crist sake, You richie riches brother?
  17. Huh, Our Farm & Fleet only has some cheep rump roast muffler brand. To hell with mufflers! Open straight pipe for me! "Boy its hard to type when your hands are full of Chex"
  18. Scott, I know - just breakin' ur balls.. Bada bing! The GSR did look pretty good, no neon window sqiurters! I bought a Cherrybomb Turbo muffler some time ago for the EA82 but never used it. And I ain't gonna bother with it on the Legacy either (You want it for $20?) its a $50 muffler (2" ID, OD) stick it on the Outback New pics!
  19. Wow thats clean! very nice score - Yeah, I wouldn't lift that one (Unless you want to) But I would do thwe 5-lug swap indeed. -Tom
  20. What are you talking about Ben? Lol.. :-\
  21. Hehe true... But the first car I bought was a SUBARU
  22. Go over to your image on the photo page and a box should pop up with different URL tags.
  23. Well I'd like to see pictures, I don't think the EA82T would be the bad of a motor if you take care of it and don't boost it much. My EA82 has never failed me and never will cause I do the "preventative maintenance" and yes, good luck finding a running not rot boxed EA82T car around here. WA might be crawling with them but the Mid-west doesn't. I too say you guys need to get off the EA82/EA82T hate wagon. Now on to the happy posting, you can upload your pictures to photobucket and copy/paste the IMG code in your post. -Tom
  24. Yes, my mind is in the gutter. Guess it comes from my parents Little dark for me, but yeah it does keep the interior cooler. Looks good with the red. Haha, I have that same sticker! See you have some siding action going on with the house. good luck!
