  1. It will be on the left side (When looking at the engine bay) its a black canister with 3 vac hoses going to it. its right by the filler cap for the window washer fluid.
  2. Are there any rotted holes in the rear (Bottom of rear fenders, rear floor pan ect..) Are you running a full exhaust with muffler? If your running a straight pipe that isn't pipped out the rump roast end of the car, you will get exhaust smell pretty bad cause the fumes aren't being pushed out and away from the vehicle. -Tom
  3. Thats more crap I would need to find and buy, but I see your point. Extra knowledge and advice is always good
  4. I'd trade the Legacy for one!
  5. Yea thats true on the price, I guess its not a bad price then. Well the plan for now is getting some Outback Strut assemblies (Top hats, Springs, Strut) so I can get this thing up and then sometime in the future I might do a full blown lift. So now I need to find some good used OB struts for not to much once I come into some money. WANTED: 1st gen Outback struts. -Tom
  6. So then why don't more of us import them from the West coast?
  7. $325 for Forester struts? I can get KYB GR2s for the forester for cheeper I might go with the OB struts as I'm not sure if the steering shaft will need to be longer if I go with the Foresters. I haven't done any research yet so I'm somewhat in the dark on this topic. But this stuff really isn't any different then the old gen stuff, so I'll be good I also need to fine out if the rear diff needs to be spaced down or not..? -Tom
  8. Hmm, thats an interesting link. I will have to do some searching about this. I would like to lift this thing, I also wonder if brake lines will need to be longer aswell as the steering shaft?
  9. Hmm this sounds intriguing, will the Outback crossmember spacer still be enough with the forester struts?
  10. I waxed the Legacy today for the first time, and wow the paint is nice. I also changed the PCV and cleaned the hose leading to that and all other air intake hoses (Most had oil build up in them) I also painted the intake boot its self (Yes I know) I painted it red, Looks kinda cool in there in a non ricer way
  11. The structor its self is damaged, so cutting out the panel and installing a better one would still not allow it to line up right. The entire rear qurtar is pushed back and in - I have pulled it out pretty much and might go back into it again sometime.
  12. Nope, I drive both everyday. I like the EA82 more too. And my insurance on both is only $300 every six months.
  13. So you help use them up for those fine people?
  14. Updates: New Outback bumper! -Tom
  15. Ooo that one is nice, Why isn't there a bigger market in the U.S for Subaru parts like this? Don't make sence.
  16. Haha! that looks to effortless, what type of tires are you running - basic road tires or a type of semi-slick?
  17. Yeah I've seen that Impreza a bushel of times, Needs a lift though :-p Thanks for those sites, yeah a Nudge bar is like $600AUD and a Brushguard is about $1200! Plus what shipping runs.. I will see if I can find a picture of what I'm talking about -Tom
  18. I have seen a bullbar that attaches to the front to protect the bumper and grille. Was this only a JDM option? Anyone know where I could get one rather then having someone fab it up. -Tom
  19. Well I'm sure I can talk them down to $5m, so thats a Million each, Fox, Desmond, You, Steve, Me. Hmmm possible? Lol.. I will stop chatting up this thread now
  20. I'm gonna buy a house out in Dyersville, The "Field of Dreams" house is for sale! Its only $5.4m. That would be a nice spread to have, 193acre lot and a big farm house
