  2. Yes I have been a member here for about 8mths now and have had a great experience with everyone but Soobme!!!!!!! about 4months ago i sent him $800 for him to make me a front and rear bumper and roof rack. i guess its my falt i trust to many people but he told me to send half and half when it was done. I decided to send the whole amount and that was the biggest mistake i ever made. To make a long story short after blowing me off for weeks that turned in to months he then gave me a sob story about moving because his job relocated him, and still i was fine with that. but after many times of him asking me if i wanted my money back i finally said yes and thats when the talking stoped. weeks went by and then he told me he overdrafted his account and didnt have the money, not intill i blow his phone up one day and his wife anwsered the phone, of course she had no idea of any of this so i received half of my money back, after that just empty promises of when i would get the rest of it back:mad: so I called him tonight after no contact with him for about amonth or so and guess what.... he anwsers and has the nerve to say uh uh uh no this isnt Tony Bowers I dont know who this is. What a little ***************. ANYWAY TO ANYONE THAT LIVES IN THE AREA OF PRINEVILLE ORAGON (AND NOT SURE OF THE SPELLING ABOUT 1 HOUR OR SO FROM MEDFORD) THAT KNOWS WHERE TONY BOWERS LIVES , I WILL SPLIT HALF OF THE 400 WITH THAT PERSON IF THEY CAN SAVE ME A TRIP FROM BOISE. I DO HAVE THE ADDRESS OF THE NEW PLACE HE LIVES IN AND I THINK ALL THAT WOULD NEED TO BE DONE IS TO TALK TO HIS WIFE. AN UNHAPPY WIFE IS A UNHAPPY HOME AND YES HERE IS HIS PHONE NUMBER IF ANYONE FEELS SO INCLINED(541) 326-9745 REMEMBER ALL OF THE SUBARU COMMUNITY THIS IS ARE SITE AND PEOPLE LIKE THIS MAKE THE WORLD A WORSE PLACE. TO THE MONITORS PLEASE LEAVE THIS HERE, I KNOW ITS XTREM BUT TO SAVE SOMEONE ELSE FROM HEART ACHE OF LOSSING HARD EARNED MONEY THAT WOULD MAKE THERE SUBY HAPPY WITH NEW FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS WITH A ROOF RACK, THIS GUY SHOULD BURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS ALL AND PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP 200 BUCKS TO YOU, HAVE A GREAT DAY. Tony Walrath tonywalrath@hotmail.com
  3. about a month of so ago there was a thread about using Ford tempo springs to replace the stock one on the EA82's that had the EJ22 in them. Im done with my wagon now and have put about 600miles on it and with the new EJ22 init the back of the car sits way HIGHER THEN the front. so i was thinking that replacing them with the beefer springs will level it out a little bit. Anyway if anyone knows where that thread is Please PM me or just reply to this thread. Thanks Tony~
  4. this is my little toy this is my 2007 chrysler 300 srt-8, 425hp and 455ftlbs i've had the gov. shut me down at 162mph more then once:headbang: it runs a 12.97 quarter mile and thats at 4500ft above sea level. not to bad for a 4600lb car. Tony~
  5. yes and that will tell you what you will need to do to your car to make it do 130mph, no more guessing Tony~
  6. its all mathmatical it takes so much HP to move the car to X speed. u can get on line and type in your weight of your car and theres a calculator that will tell u how much HP you will need, and your gears will have a lot to do with it. it will probably never happen but it would be cool!! Tony~
  7. the best thing i found to use is " Right Stuff" it comes in a can and its the only thing the guys at my dealership will use to reseal the oil pans here!! Tony~
  8. as for taking them off again use the 6point socket not a 12point socket ok, then a good socket wrench and a BIG BRAKER BAR!! watch the nuckles ok!! But again be sure not to round them ok and yes they will be on there VERYVERY tight!!!! Tony~
  9. oh yea, 30lbs on the flywheel bolts and 120lbs on the front main pulley. Tony~
  10. the front main pulley is a 19mm socket and the flywheel bolts are 14mm sockets, on the flywheel be sure to use a 6point socket to asure that you dont round off the corners like i did!! I ended up buying this sockets at sears called bolt-off sockets to get them out. depending on how many miles are on the motor you might want to buy new flywheel bolts because after time they can get stretched out. they are about 1-2 bucks at the subaru dealer. Also be sure to use lock tight on the new bolts or old one to make sure they dont losin up ok. Check your chiltons manual for the tork spec's on the bolts, I think its 30lbs?? good luck ok. Tony~
  11. here's a bad pic of my 29x8.50x15 TSL Super Swampers on my 85 GL wagon before the 4inch lift. the only way I got them to lift was by lift the car up with a jack putting the tires on and then letting the car down. in the rear where the bottom of the door and wheel well meet, the car was sitting on the tires. in the front I had the bottom piece of sheet metal off the goes from both fenders right under the radiator. the car wasnt drivable or movable AT ALL. You would have to cut so much off I dont think it would be worth it, I think you would ruin the car. Tony~
  12. Ok so is it just splice in the oil wire right to a light?? does that one wire act as a ground and power that comes from the ecu, or do I splice the oil wire to the light and then a wire from the light to a 12v source?? and would it be a electircal or mechanical for the water temp, thats saying I found one to work. what do I need to look for, because I want to use a aftermarket gauge?? Tony~ P.S. sorry for reasking these questions, but I'm the biggest dumba$$ when it come to wiring!!!
  13. Ok so seens I know what wire from the ecu is my water temp, and what wire is the oil light cant I use Electrical gauges?? are do I have to use mechanical sending gauges?? It seems like I should be able to use electrical gauges, because I'm tieing them right into the ecu wires. Any thought?? Thanks Tony~
  14. Ok, after work today I'm going to buy a water&oil gauge for my 85 GL wagon that has the EJ22 in it. From reading posts on here I need metric reading gauges, RIGHT?? I was wondering what gauges everyone else was using. Any input would be great!! Thanks Tony~ P.S. I just want to buy the right ONES!! Thanks again:)
  15. ok, my alternator wiring is still getting hot?? but Its charging the battery fine?? So I guess its fine. But I took my car out for its first ride around the block(a VERY short ride) and when I give it gas It make a very bad rattling sound right under the shifter?? it almost sounds like its coming from the 4x4 shifter?? Is this caused by the lift?? any thoughts Tony~
  16. Ok that is not a picture of my alternator or my motor. That is a Picture that numbchux sent me of how he has his wiring done on his car. I just followed what he did, the alternator and wiring are hot to the touch but not to hot to touch(it was hotter then it should of been). My battery is old and I had to jump it and thats when I reliased that the alternator and wiring and fusable link where hotter then normal. So with that said what do you think?? Tony~
  17. ok now I think this is a new problem?? this is how I have my alternator wiring set up, This is the pic Numbchux sent my Now anwser me this, the big white wire by itself goes directly to the fusable links under the hood( the ones that burn up if theres something wrong). For some reason my alternator is getting really hot aswell as the wire to the fusable link and the fusable link itself it really hot. Im not for sure but thats not normal right?? I unplugged the alternator and no problems, so I dont know if I have something hooked up wrong or what?? I have the stock big wire wire going that comes from under the fusable link box directly to the alternator where you use a 10mm nut to hold it down, is this right?? Is that wiring and fusable link suppose to get hot?? Tony~
  18. try to shake the axle up and down, maybe you pulled it apart?? I did on mine. Tony~
  19. ok this just happen to me, I bought a new axle and didnt even drive it and it was pulled apart at the CV joint:mad: what happen was they gave me a EA81 axle not a EA82 axle. dont know if this will help but worth a try. You have a EA81 or EA82?? Tony~
  20. Yes I can be done! thats what my buddy is running on his. Tony~
  21. beside's a few problems, sounds like a good find. Tony~
  22. Crazy story, glad to hear your fine. Sucks about the car tho:mad: Tony~
