  1. be cool if they could get it to stay together Tony~ I'd drive it:grin:
  2. Looks GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tony~
  3. Thats awsome Scott. Looks very good and sounds great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tony~
  4. I didnt spend much time with my EA82 before swaping in a EJ22, but I love the sound of no muffs on the EJ22:headbang: Tony~
  5. well I WILL need a cam sensor!! I changed the fuel relay and after about 10seconds is runs like #$#$, but my buddy got one cheap so all will be fine!!! Tony~ Still not sure about the mof flow sensor??
  6. So Brat86 or you saying that is a cam sensor thats tripping the code?? Or do you thing I should just replace it?? Tony~
  7. could the CAS be a cam angle sensor?? i was ruff with it and I figured that it may be broken?? Tony~
  8. ok it turned out to be one of two things, First bad fuel relay. I opened it up and the connectors were all nasty, looks like it got wet at one time. The second thing was I wasnt getting anough power to the fuel pump relay. had to splice into a better source. I did check for codes they where, 13,39,41 maf flow sensor, throttle sensor. number 13 was a CMP or CEM or CPM dont remember, but it was number 13. my chiltons manual only had code decoders for leagacy's that where 1991 or newer, I have a 1990 so not for sure. I know I need to adjust the throttle, and as far as the the maf flow sensor, I dont have a air filter in. Its just sucking air through the air box. The air box is together just no air filter, so that is two codes I think I can take care of, Right?? Tony~
  9. one more thing, would a cam angle sensor do that?? It recevied a good blow during this project?? It sounds great when it runs, but it wont stay running. Tony~
  10. This is what I would do, wait till you find one then post pics and miles and other thing about it on here. Then everyone can look at it and then go from there. Tony~
  11. Ok the CAR RUNS!!! but only for about 2-5 seconds?? I have plenty of fuel pressure and everything is hooked up right, it just wont stay running?? Any thoughts??? Tony~
  12. Thanks Chux, I will work on the fuel tonight have to work all day That always sux, but it will get done I know. Thanks again chux for the wiring and the conversion manual!! and thank you Cougar for the late night calls. Tony~
  13. STOP EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm just a HUGH DUMBA$$ If I remember right, it always helps to have all the connectors on the engine pluged in RIGHT:confused: all this headbanging crap over my own stupidity. You guys dont even know how big of a TOOL I feel like right now:eek: SO, I have more spark then I know what to do with now, but no fuel now(this time its a real problem, I promise) so any good Idea's on how to prime the system (Fuel system that is)?? Tony~ P.S. Thank you all for time and afforts!!! Next time I will Triple check all of my own WORK> Oh Yea one more thing, Mr. Numbchux wiring Harness was done PERFECT> User error
  14. Ok I checked and there are two yellow/red two yellow and one light green and one black. With the key on all have power except the black one. Tony~
  15. well let me ask you this, cant I just cut the two wires F47 9,10 and just hard wire them to a 12v source that only gets power when the key is on??
  16. ok just did some checking, and see if you guys have the samething: ok the coil is called ignition control on the ecu diagram/pin out. coil 1-4 are labeled as F47 pin 9,10. So I turned the key on and checked the power at each pin 9,10 and nothing. So I'm not getting any power right at the coil??? What the he** is going on. Tony~
  17. ok I just checked and I have power to every wire on (in) the main relay except the black wire(a ground wire??). That is with the key on, and I checked under the hood, everything has power except the coil. The map, air sensors and the injecters all have power, so what wire does the coil go in to the ECU?? or is it a series of wires?? Tony~ Everything was tested with the key in the on position.
  18. yes I know that i have no power at the coil, checked it with a 12v tester. I will trace it back then report back ok. Cougar when my buddy gets out here I'll give you a call ok?? Tony~
  19. I have a 1985 GL wagon 5speed 4x4, and im doing a EA82-EJ22 swap. My donor car was a 1990 legacy 4x4 auto trans with a 2.2L non-turbo in it. Numbchux did my wiring harness and ive done all the mechanical stuff. Scarpachy is a friend of mine who got me into suby's and he knows about basic electrical and a LOT about SUBARU'S. I'm a dumb*** when it comes to wiring.:-\ Tony~
  20. Thank you for that, that is a big relief. So if I find out why the coil doesnt have power then the fuel system will start to work, GREAT!! Thanks again, Tony~
  21. The fuel pump is cycling for a second or so when you first turn the key to on, but not starting it. Tony~
  22. yes that is my biggest concern right now but i would like to know why there is no fuel getting to the engine. Tony~
