What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
You will notice after driveing a bit that the camber will settle. If it didnt, then you might of not cut the blocks right or you might have them on the wrong side. Just a few things to consider, your welcome for the wheels and i would love to see a picture of everything done. The one you posted isnt showing up.

Lift on a '92 Loyale
I did a bill olhms monster lift but he doesnt really do them anymore until he gets his internet back. I have 27 inch mud tires which they dont make anymore in this brand. You can still get 14 inch bighorns and superswampers. For your entertainment, heres what mine looks like.

Lift on a '92 Loyale
I have 14inch pugs and they look great but i only have a 2 inch lift. If your going 4 inch lift i would try to find some 15inch pugs or redrill chevy - toyota wheels. 15inch is really the way to go anyways since there are few agressive tires anymore for 14inch wheels. But to simply answer your question, for a 4 inch lift i would use a 15inch wheel. Ben

My New Project - '87 Subaru GL Wagon
If you have a subaru with a/c you have 2 fans. All subarus came factory with a electric fan, if you had ac you had a water pump fan also. There shouldnt be any clutch fan to it it should just be a fan. You only needed 2 fans if you had a/c but if you have 2 electrical fans id say go with that. Less power robbing from a waterpump fan. The No Thermostat worries me as to think maybe there was overheating problems in the past and they took it out just to get buy. Do what you need to do to get buy but for sure get the oem t stat when you get a chance. Make sure not to tighten the t stat housing it up to much, aluminum strips easily. Ask me how i know. Something that helped me out was get everything straightned out and try to put the vehicle on some car ramps or at an angle with the rad cap off and let the system burp the air out of it. It improved my heat a bit and definately got rid of some air in the system. If the heatercore is plugged your kinda in a bad spot. There not easy to get to (never are really in any car). If you can tear it apart to get to it while not needing to drive it your good to go. Your 89 manual will be able to help you with this. Good Luck. Ben

Iowa Meet-N-Greet
Hi jeremy. We usually try to do something in the summer for the iowa folks but not limited to just them. McBrat usually tries to organize the event which involves camping for a couple of days and some light 4 wheelin. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=93496&highlight=iowa+meet+greet http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=97954&highlight=iowa+campout&page=13 Pics start on page 13 if you want to miss our stupid banter. McBrat is the one with the lifted chevy since hes to good to bring a subaru to a subaru event. My wagon looks significantly different then it was then.

someone tried stealing my GL help getting it running!
I cant image anyone trying to steel these cars on a regular basis, no matter now nice they may look. I used to leave the keys in my car all the time and no one gave it a second look.

What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Sent 4 pug aluminum 14inch wheels to Grand Junction, CO today. Good luck with your lift and the wheels jessie. Also swapped my 1000 cold cranking amp battery from the taurus into the soob. Just curious if this is a bad thing. To have a way powerfull battery in a car that might not need one that large. IT has 850 cranking amps when the old battery had half of that.

Need <$5K car for my daughter, should I avoid all 2.5 models?
The Dude Abides replied to 95LEGOBW's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXWhy do you want your daughter to have a more powerfull car. If memory serves me correctly my first car was a 89 Ford Crown Victoria. I had two people crash into me, i put that car into a ditch on a slick road. I used to do doughnuts and fishtail on gravel roads. Id pile my friends into it and blast the stereo. Power is not something i think your daughter would need to get to school and work. If i were you a nice 2.2 legacy or even a 1.8 impreza would be a good fit. Or give her your old one and you get the STI impreza for the power for you. I have 3 daughters and am planning on buying suburbans for all of them.
