I KNOW WHAT IM BUILDING AFTER THE SEDAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
How do you keep bending them? Heavy foot or what?
-
Tires cost money!!!!!!!!! All i have been buying lately is drywall. But thats done, so now off to motorcycle engine and then tires. Those street tires actually did pretty darn well aired down. The swampers on the buggyroo just dug and fast.
-
Have you been to Bunce school road yet?
-
Mammoth gulch is the same area but you stay on apex road till further up, then take a left. I think mammoth gulch is better than central city side, but its all good and all connected.
-
Weather was great, sand was a little soft till a breif rain, hills were tough. I love this place its a ton of fun. Fixed the buggyroo with a bandaid Stuck on log Found a tree

I might be up for a trip up there. My gf has to work till 12 is the only problem. I could leave boulder by 12 for sure so that might push back your start time. Let me talk with her and ill post up some more info, prolly camp up there too. We could meet near the cementary, or go up the mammoth gulch side.

Removing Doors on an 87 GL
bigo1966 replied to bigo1966's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Well if the doors arent as heavy as i remember ill just leave them on.....for now. This way ill have time to get the rear welded. -
What are you saying, My subaru dosent have enough power?????????????? We are heading out next saturday, should i go with the 27" all terrians aired down or go with the 32" mud terrians aired down, im thinking that the elevation we are heading to i should stick with the 27"s. they are both the same width 8" and both are 1/4 tread or so. Do you think i should weld the rear end before I head out also?

I want to take the doors of the Sedamn for a trip to the dunes. If i recall those doors are heavy. I have power windows and was wonding if its easy to disconnect the power to the windows. i.e. is there a disconnect somehwere either in the door or is it in the car for easy removal. Thanks

Anyone seen a subi with paddle tires?
-
Hey Bill, If you read this could you post a pic of your extended radius rods? Its time to get those 32's on the Sedamn.
-
Just do it, there are enough subi's on tires that big and we need more!!!!!!!!!!!
-
DUDE I saw you!!!!!!!! I was thinking to myself "ive never seen an engine case that looked that like. Pretty cool.....and small world. Why is the case shaped like that? Whats in the upper portion? And it even has an H pipe.
-
If I was going to keep the Sedamn as a DD I would fix the camber. Once I drop a motorcycle engine and trans under the hood I wont drive it nearly as much so im not to concerned with the camber. Not only that my 5 min commute is going to turn to an hour at the end of this month....either that or im unemployed. Were you in a diesel BMW?
-
Went up there with a few friends, snow was over knee deep. It was fun. The sedamn kicked butt with chains.
-
I had to buy cement for the driveway and garage slab.

Timing belt changed(with some help from Bill). So i decided to test fit the 32's. I also swaped out the rear combination coils for a combination of Sedan Coils and Wagon coils and i got a 5" strut block from Bill. Its sitting pretty level now.
