  2. Nevermind, I searched and answered my ?????'s
  3. Has anyone here tried one of these out? I go through tires like underware and im tired of paying money. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=34542
  4. Why is it a nono, there is a trail here in CO called Jenny Creek, a good part of the trail is in the creek.
  5. Not yet, but soon. Very soon. I cant wait. I want to do it now, a few weeks at the most.
  6. Well the in next month I need to extend radius arms, fix all broken parts from my Bachelor Party, get the 32" tires on the car, I picked up some 220 lb springs for the rear of the car, 40 bucks a pair, brand new, so i need to replace those also. Rear disc swap. Ill get some pics up when the fun starts........And then.....Motor swap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. A few vids of that weekend. Creek vids deleted. Creek wheeling is a nono.
  8. Ive found a pair of 220 lb springs 12" long 2.5ID for 40 bucks. Ill pick them up monday. Then the rebuild will start.
  9. Thats a little more work than i would like to do right now. The spring is too big for my setup too. But thanks, good read.
  10. Good info, it appears that I currently have 196 stacked with a 160. Your chart is a great reference. There are a couple local 4x4 guys with some 250lb springs for sale, I think ill start there and stack the 196 with the 250. Thanks
  11. As you can see in this pic with 3 guys, cooler of beer and spare parts the rear of the sedan sags way too much: Has anyone bought aftermarket stiffer springs to get the rear up on there car? Keep in mind that this is my rear coil over setup: Sedan spring stacked on wagon spring. Any thoughts?
  12. One strut tower seperated, bent rear trailing arm and one bent front trailing arm. Its all good, there are more pics and vids on the way, got some great air over a cattle guard. Enjoy. Creek pics deleted. Wheeling in the creek is a nono.
  13. Just put the diesel in and if you dont like it take 30 min and put the EA81 back in.
  14. Build your own, its easy, works great for me. Or these guys. Or a pair of air shocks from NAPA for 80.00.
  15. That was cool. GO RANDY WAAAAHHHHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. (spits up coffee) Did you say 21 subarus???????? Dang!
  17. Im in the middle of converting the sedamn from EA82 powered to being powered by an V65 out of a honda Saber.
  18. I aired down too much for sand and with in one hour the tread seperated from the tire. So yeah, save your tires and dont air down too much!
  19. Cool man. This is what i want to do next, once the sedamn is done.
  20. Dang your quick. Come over and help me out.
  21. 2" lift blocks on the struts and that was it. The only thing i would change was left the front wind shield and maybe a little more sheet metal around the driver and passenger to keep it warmer. Radiator in the back for easy access to the engine and trans. Air shocks work great in the rear but leaked in the winter. Weld the rear for sure. Thats all i can think of right now. The next one would also have less cage to make it even lighter.
  22. Thanks for the advice. Ill check into those options.
  23. Did the EA82's come with manual brakes? When i switch to the motorcycle engine im going to lose power brakes so ill need to ditch the booster. It would be great if i could just bolt up a manual brake cylinder, possibly from an EA81? Thanks.
  24. How much should I extend mine? 1", .75"?
