  1. 3WD? You destroy a cv axle?

And unfortunately sunday doesn't work for me. =[

We'll have to figure something out.

    Hmmm...

  2. Ok, where, what time, 4x4 required? =P

  3. Ah. I probably did a burnout coming off to follow you. =D

    I tend to do that.

  4. Not bad, not too bad.

I might get to work at circuit city for the next month and a half. =\

    Its a paycheck, ya know.

And was I drifting when you saw me on greensferry?

  5. Wow. I'm sorry. :-\ Well at least you had an excuse. When I got stuck my I was just an idiot. And thank you for keeping it clean for the video. I was expecting a heck of a lot more %$!!! and &^@*$%#*@#!!!!!! Cool vid for the first one! Hope you get a new clutch soon!!! Twitch
  6. Well, I can kinda answer your first q, Just about anything EA series with a turbo will have the lsd and they are stamped with a "Limited Slip Diffirential" stamp. I think. please, correct me if I'm wrong! Twitch
  7. Hey!

    You live in washington!

    Come join us over here!!!

  8. Sounds like a subaru Yeah, I'm in agreement with Loyale 2.7 turbo The inner cv axle bearings may be the problem. And on that shop, just because they've been around a long time doesn't mean that they are the best shop to go to. We have a shop that's been around almost 25 years and they misdiagnosed my problems twice. Both time they said it was detrimental damage and it just turned out to be a bad fuel injector and the other is unknown, for now. :frustrated: Twitch
  9. Well, as stated before, did you notice any difference in voltage after the fusible link change? If it fixes it, then there you go! If not check your voltage regulator, as stated before. If your voltage regulator is shot, then you'll have to replace it. I'm not sure, but I think that's onboard the alternator, and if it is it'll probably be easier (and cheaper ) to replace the alternator. Twitch
  10. I believe that you lost an EGR valve. Mine did about the same on the driver's side. Just unplug the hose that was blowing the crap in there. It should do just fine without it. As for the carb, I would just recommend cleaning it out while the engine is cold and off. Hope it helps! Twitch
  11. Valve cover gaskets. Rebuild the heads, check for warpage. Have the head pressure tested, water and air. Clean that sucker like you've never cleaned before. That's all I can think of right now, I'm sure I'll remember something else I had to do on my EJ22 that you may have to do. Twitch
  12. My parents have learned that lesson the hard way, "We won't sell your name..." Bull. That's why they get 300+ spam a day. And I have almost killed several things using internet advice. (Computer, car, cat...) Sometimes makes me wanna somebody. Twitch Holy crap! I just realized they all start with C!
  13. Cool, well if you have trim for a 2nd gen brat I'd be extremely willing to help. The only issue is I live N ID!!! Hey good luck with it! You may be able to get help from Zap or Edrach. Ed's currently fighting insurance but he may have some spare time. Hope you can get it going! Twitch Ps: And if you don't have the wire connecting to the fuel pump, you may need to get the proper one there. Captain Obvious strikes again!
  14. Heh, you took the words right out of my mouth. But you forgot one thing with the ford, it now has Microsoft crap in it. Oh, and those aerostars, I wouldn't call those minivans just because some of them actually had a real 4x4 system in them. A friend of mine has a lift kit and a custom bumper on his. I'll post a pic asap. And I think that all manufacturers have their own version of crap. Chrystler has, well, everything. Chevy's cars are their version other than the Vette and new Camaro. Ford has overall crap and now has extra crap added. Toyota has started a downhill slide into it with their 4x4 systems (read consumer reports if you disagree) Nissan has their small cars as their version of crap, and their titan truck, Honda, well, good cars but I always think of them as plastic toys, cuz the interiors, (YUK!!!) Mazda is Ford, nuff said. Subaru, I believe has hit a new low with their framed windows, (bleah!) and the non-subaru look with their new models. >p I want my old suby look back! Sorry, rant over. Twitch(ing)
  15. Sweet.

    What are they doing?!?

You're learning more on the forum than you are in school!

    Hee, hee, hee.

  16. So I guess you fall under that category Zap?I see the "over the hill, 40" mark on your details. Heh heh heh, So why aren't you part of the group? HUH? You live in seattle, you're in the juristiction. Twitch
  17. Your pic http://http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=6081&d=1232587402 It looks like an EA71 to me. From the looks of the disty and your radiator, it looks just like my 79' Brat. Not to mention that engine looks by far smaller than the EA81 in my 85' Brat. And your oil stabilizer, was that "lucas?" not locus? That should help, but if you put too thick of oil in it the oil won't flow enough to lube the entire engine at high RPM's. The stabilizer I believe will make the oil stickier, more capable of lubricating the engine and gears. Hope it helps, Twitch
  18. I thought you were in school!

    Naughty, naughty!

Using school time for USMB that's smart, but what are you doing the rest of the time?

    Hmmmmmm?

  19. Congrats! And for only $5500!!! That is a steal where I live. Those are still going for $7-10k around here. Hope it turns out to be another awesome suby!
  20. Bump. Bump. C'mon Y'all! If you live in the northwest, come join!
  21. Hey brandon, wazzup?

you still jobless? Or did you finally find somethin'?

If you are, it looks like we're trying to bail out the same boat. :-\

  22. Ok, sorry for not getting the address earlier, but here it is: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/group.php?groupid=3 And first matters first, we need to come up with a better name, I just used "North Westerns" for a starting name. Once we get a fair amount of people, say 20? we need to come up with a name that is acceptable to all. OK? Twitch
  23. Heh heh heh, It seems, my good sir, that you are a subaru owner. You have one and you're buying two more just for fun And yeah, I would definitely go with the one with the best body and the other with the best engine. Have fun with your new project(s) Twitch
