The lugnuts stripped the thread. They all seem to be new ones.

6 Lug Problem
So while swapping out tires today, 3 of my studs stripped BAD. 2 on 1 hub and 1 on another. I don't know if I can have the threads fixed so could I have a machine shop re-install new studs or should I get another hub done? Has anyone else run into this problem before? Thanks.

Nor Nev and Nor Cal meet 8/6
Dang. Where have I been? I'm down for wherever. As usual, I want to test my junk, but easily, I still don't have that plate welded all the way in, so I don't wanna do anything too crazy, but other than that I don't care. I've wanted to look into some trails off 89 I think, (Road in opposite direction of Northstar ski area) up behind Boca and Stampede. Lots of trees, water nearby, and nice views. But thats my only thing. I'm gonna see if I can take off early from work saturday.

Brat Decal Q
Hrm. Just went out and looked at my 78 Brat. It doesn't have the Brat logo, but has lettering at the bottom of the sides. Color code is 96, which I couldn't find anywhere, but it appears to be original. Weird.

Brat Decal Q
Why do some brats come with the brat targa stripe and some don't? I think I may have heard it was a dealer option, but was it also a case of a GL model versus a DL model? Thanks.

Removing ball joint from hub
Those Ball Joints are a pain. Juat keep dousing it with liquid wrench and maybe some PB blaster and it should eventually come out.

Oregon off-road tour. help needed!
We were trying to decide if that would make any difference at all. We'll most likely stop by AFTER the show as I don't want to spoil a perfectly good trip up there on John. We'll see.

Wheelin With Jibs :) **now with video!**
yeah, but I'm workin on it. I should have one on soon, I'm gonna go see the guy who made my tube doors about making a bumper. Its funny, I remember paying someone a bunch of money for bumpers and a transmission a while back, but I haven't heard anything from the guy.

fuel lines
Here's a pic: This is a weber, but I *think* they should be close, some older hitachi's I've seen have the fuel lines on the passenger side, it seems to be pre-1982 though. Right above my finger there. Another shot: Right above my finger again. On SOME hitachi's I've seen, the fuel line will come around the front (bottom of pic) and wrap around to the passenger side. You can see where the fuel line kinda goes too. Hope this helps.

fuel lines
What kind of carb is it? If its other than a weber the should be 1 main barb, and a second real close to it. if its a weber, then it only has 1 and ther is no return.
-
fuel lines
Is the carb on or off the car? If its on, just find the fuel filter on the driver's side rear corner under the hood and follow it to the carb. If the carb is off, just look for a barb on one of the sides, kinda hard to explain.

Fuel Rail Replacement
I got a replacement fuel line today to just bypass the whole thing. I'll follow how it is for now and maybe flush the line as well, I just don't like the idea of it dying on me in traffic in the meantime. We'll see how it goes.
