  1. I have not been on an official dyno yet but I do have Dynolicious on my iPhone. After about a 45 minute search I found the actual drivetrain loss % and I weighed the car at a weigh station. the results...... Car 1988 rx weight 2500# without driver drivetrain loss 25% test parameters 0-60 and HP acceleration G .53 0-10 1.18 0-20 2.19 0-30 3.10 0-40 4.64 0-50 6.02 0-60 7.80 seconds peak HP 157 (this is flywheel hp) Modifications: Ford SVO TMIC boost controller set to 12 Psi TWE DP 2.5 inch 2.5 inch front pipe, cat, mid pipe and tailpipe
  2. I'm setting up dynolicious on my iPhone and I need to know what kind of loss is in my turbo drivetrain. I assumed 25% and did a run I must say if thats right it feels a bit stronger than 157hp. 0-60 7.8sec car just weighed at truck scales 2500# FOUND 2wd=18% AWD= 25% 5-speed manual only
  3. Silverstone makes a great tire tough as heck too but.... not cheap
  4. I'm in the process if choosing spring rates for my new suspension. I'm planning to take the car down another 2-3 inches depending on geometry. Not sure if I want to go with 350#f 250#r or 375#f and 300#r. I want it stiff but still useable on less perfect surfaces. I am also looking at a set of diamond wheels in 13x8 and fender flares to cover them. Subtlety is going out the window this thing will be all race.
  5. what worries me is I can't seem to find any replacements for the rear of a turbo. any suggestions?
  6. I was trying different things at an autocross and I thought since it was wet I could try the diff lock.... I couldn't even make the turn to stage. Now I have an intermittent click from the left rear... Lesson learned.
  7. I'll go look for one this weekend I hope I can find one that will fit in front of the air box. While I'm there I will look to see if the Loyale they have still has a complete airbox. I want to see what an unmodified airbox looks like.
  8. the roof scoop? its just a stick on scoop and it doesn't do anything other than ruin aerodynamics. In fact I'm removing it.
  9. I started the install of my intercooler and with the bracket to keep it solid I need to cut the pipes to hook it up and add the fittings to hook up IAC and BOV

  17. I took the car to an autocross tonight I placed 6th in raw time over all and was 2nd fastest for several hours. the fastest car tonight ran a 28.3 second run I ran a 29.7. For the first half of the event the fastest car was 28.7 and no one was any closer than my time. This is quite literally the first time I have driven this car in anger and WOW it's quick.
