Thank you! I spoke with a local mechanic, he quoted and promised me he'd only charge .5 hours to swap it. I'll be letting him handle this one It certianly failed, came apart in my hand when I touched it.

Hey fellas, it's been a long long time since I have been around here. Many things have changed in my world, and here I am back in a Subaru again! Here is the issue. Just picked up a "low" mileage 1999 Legacy Wagon 2.2 5spd. The fuel filler hose (rubber from filler tube to tank). What is the easiest way to change this? I am now paralyzed below my knees from a fall that killed me two years ago, so the easiest is the best for me. I'm still trying to do as many things as I can manage. Thanks for the help fellas! I've been off the board for I dunno how long. I got a call from a guy that now owns the draggin' wagon. Apparently 2 previous owners didn't change the title. Its still in my name. So I'm gonna get that handled for the new owner. Anyway, back on subject. The whole thing reminded me of my favorite forum. So I figured id swing in and see whats new and say hi.

Looked cool I love that canyon rd. drive. I used to drive that in the patrol car when I was bored over there at the firing center.....did a fair amount of fishing in the river too. Glad everyone had fun. Not a bad turnout....

It's STI-Wolf, he's in cinebar. He has just traded that off for a lifted black ea82 wagon (logan k) I read that this morning, confirmed by my friend asking me about a lifted wagon he saw. He described it, and I told him it was for sale up in edmonds or somthing.
