As far as lifting it, there are numerous threads relating to that subject. you can turn up the torsion bars in the back and block the front struts. I believe that should give you around 2" of lift. That is all the farther you want to go without dropping the carriage and diffs. get friendly w/ the search button and do lots of reading. Many here have built bumpers and brush guards and there are pics that show them. Good luck man. Caleb

This has been done many times, I do not however know exactly what it takes. Clutch PP, Flywheel, and the D/R 5spd. are starters I think

Fixed leaky oilpan, and began the battle of the stripped out exhaust stud hole. Fired up the 78 Draggin' Wagon, and took her out for a sunny Sat. spin :grin:

try timing and tuning the carb back to stock settings. The "how to keep your subaru alive" manual will walk you thru the process. I would start there. -Caleb
