Front Lift on 89 Sub Wagon Question
How much lift you looking at? 2" requires none. and at 4" just add to your steering shaft. You don't need some shop to do it. There are many pics on this forum showing you how to do it, and what it should look like before and after.

Is this a good deal on a new weber kit?
I got a weber on both my cars ea82 and ea71 they work fine for what i need. I'm no carb guru so I can't tell you a technical answer. My cars start and drive just fine, no complaints here. MPG went down some, but power went up. So it's trade up. 300 seems about right for the carb. I've seen them a number of times around that price.

Took out heater core, flushed, still ZERO heat!
my temp selector doesn't go all the way down, but when on hot, it's HOT! hope yours is not like that, and you can fix it easy. -Caleb

the possible death of the sedan
Dude this is just a thought...... If that car means so much to you, why not spend the $$ on the frame straightener. People may be nice enough to toss you some parts just out of the kindness of their hearts. Once I had a motorcycle (Yamaha Roadstar Warrior) I downed the bike. Broke my heart. I told my fellow board memebers. Before I knew it new (used) parts were showing up at my doorstep. There were enought parts to put the bike back together, and rideable again in no time Something to ponder...... -Caleb
