Camber after lift?
- Camber after lift?
RedCap, I had this same issue too...at first I had my blocks in wrong...I put them correct and now I have a slight camber...that's just how it's gonna roll...(PS my stut tops aren't flat, so thats why I have a slight camber now, new sturts to come soon) Just do as 3 eyed said...check the stuts and see if they are angled anyway other that directly inboard.- Camber after lift?
which way is your camber...... mine is also a little cambered but i think i have solved the issue, its a one of a kind problem lol- A question for the EA81 guys out there

God I love the snow!!! Looked like a good time...You should roll with another rig, it sucks being stuck with no one to pull you out  Looks like you had a blast, it's official, I'm jealous. -Caleb- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)

  I see how it is, your house comes before the car when there is snow. BS!!!- Lift is Done!
:mad:Yeah, that computer pissed me off so i just went back out to the shop. I was wondering if the stuts were bent myself..but it seems just the top is at an angle and the two sides are identical. I'm gonna look into it more. If anyone sees this i wouldn't mind a set of struts that i could swap in there. I'm not done getting this hammered out...next up is try different struts....maybe i should visit the JY -Caleb- Lift is Done!
OK, So as some of you know i had trouble with my camber with the new lift. Tonight i tore it back apart and looked everything over. The lift was in CORRECTLY and I still had camber issues. Bill and I discussed it on the phone and we were both at a loss of what the problem is. :-\ I deceided to take pics and email them to bill so he could have a look. Lucky me, I can't figure out my dads camera to computer connection, so the pics wouldn't email. I went back out to the shop for another look around....I tried the Passenger side block in the drivers side...No Dice! So this tells me only one thing.......the lift is labled correctly and built correctly...so the problem must be my issue on the car or somthings.....I have a good look at the strut hats. WTF!!! my strut hats are angled!!!!! I sping them over and over and confirm what I did not know. Are they camber correcting hats or what??? I thought the hats were on a flat plan....not these!!! So I find the lowest part of the hat a properly position the block on them Passenger on Passenger and arrow forward. As well as the other side....I bolt everything back up and pray.. Let the car down and low and behold the camber is better...I drive down the driveway and back to the shop...it's settled some... So as of now I have OK camber and hats that are not on a flat plane. I run in here type this messege and head home to hit the sack before i gotta work in a few hours. Pics will follow soon....tomorrow or the next I promise, I gotta get this camera issue lined out first. -Caleb- subi-rear end
The sticker should say in big letters "LSD" on it If it don't say it then its prob not. but don't take me for all knowing, so see what others have to say too. -Caleb- Annual Hatch Patrol Xmas Tree run

Fighting.. thats how mine went too- Axle cluster&^@% please help! Updated
Very true- Vise for shop
never seen or used one (obviously) But RAD!!!! I'm gonna have to upgrade...i can think of a million reasons why and 0 reason not to... that thing looks handy dandy -Caleb- Axle cluster&^@% please help! Updated
I personally think you'll be ok.... looks to me like the axle was not on all the way and it slipped or something. I would toss the axle back on and make sure it is "home", install proper pin and engage driving!. ..but disregard me, i'm no mechanic. -Caleb I'm interested to what you find out for sure- 300 acres in forks, wa, got any ideas how to use it?
