  3. Grabbed a choker and used it as a skidder to get some old RR ties out of the blackberries so i could cut them down. Pissin' rain, in a grassy field 4low and R. Gotta love pulling 3 and 4 heavy,wet, ties at a time out of the brush with a car my neighbors were in awe :eek: oh, and installed my rack/basket that i bought from Zap (eric) thanks again eric. I got it all set how i wanted it.....

  11. lets see......bought it last night, picked it up today. changed oil, adjusted clutch, flushed coolant system, changed therostat, new pads, rotors, and shoes, new valve cover gaskets. looked it over, and made plans to pull motor for complete reseal/time belt change.

PO installed weber 32/36 and took off pwr steering pump claiming they both didn't fit.. does this sound like something someone has ran into? what's my next step? get new (junk yard) pump and install or get manual rack cause the power rack has been run for years w/o a pump? thanks... also posted in weber sticky......

    My opinion is prepare for the worst...always if possible... and yes sometimes the 110 welder comes along... :grin: but everyone is has their views on their own lists...and that's what makes the world go round.

    I know it's old and out of date. But it was mentioned about....folding army shovel, also works as a stool to do your "business" in the woods...we did that in the army...don't forget (some on the things i bring) TP or baby wipes. small chain saw 017 or the like. hatchet machette food water (plenty!!) flint and knife tender vehicle fluids tarp (shelter) rain gear waterproof boots or change of boots flares shovel come-a-long straps or chains tools SPARE TIRE AND WHEEL!!!!!! highlift 4-way lug wrench belts and hoses "fix a flat" air compresser gloves wool hat tire gauge tire stem tool phone cb spare socks spare britches fire extingisher FIRST AID KIT!!!! .......beer.... anyway i'm not done but you get the idear
  22. that is one sweet machine...I need one of those to move my old 300 wildcat motor from the back 40 and to snag my 425 caddy motor to install in my 64 buick.......:banana:
  23. I bought new tires, changed the oil, replaced the pass side front CV, changed trans fluid, seafoamed it, hmmm got some tapes for the tape player, and some other boring things..... she's much happier now though.....
