  1. Or you will pay $60.40. IByoushouldhaveusedfedex,usps,greyhound,magic.
  2. Burned clutches smell awesome. And when I say awesome, I mean god-awful.
  3. That's a nice lift you got there.
  4. The rest of the car sort of looks like...crap. There's more work to be done before I ever show it. However, I'm tempted to see whether or not I can get it past tech and into the staging lanes at the drag racing at BUGOUT. VW powerplants only:brow:
  5. I wish you had seen it in all of it's glory.
  6. There was water down the spark plug holes. SOOO STUUUPID! The Butler PD would love that.
  7. Look what you all have done. When I move to my new place, i'm gonna have to build up an EJ22 with twin weber 48 IDA's and MSD digital ignition. It would look sort of like a vw motor, too. Goodbye rev limiter. I'm gonna need some billet connecting rods and forged pistons. Destroke it so I can rev it to 9 grand.
  8. This turbo does not have the seals you are looking for. It would probably work, but not incredibly well.
  9. gleeful bump
  10. I think MSD has the spark problem covered with their Digital II ignition system.
  11. Yeah, twin webers would look good.
  12. Yeah, it won't stay put. It just pushes the locked front tires. The rear tires are like eight inches wide, too. If it ever hooked up, I think it would pop a wheelie. Oh, Scrapdaddy and Spanky_Pete...Thanks for the hookup!
  13. High altitutes plus high grade might make it seem sluggish, as the air is less dense and the fuel burns slower. Essentially, you'd be running rich. I don't think that would hurt anything (converter temps might be higher).
  14. Cool, I'll let scrapdaddy know. BTW, when i looked at that address, I couldn't decide if it was real or not.
  15. The 95 engine has an EGR valve, which may cause firewall interference. 90-94 do not. I'd love to see twin 48 IDA's with tall stacks on top of an EJ.
  16. We'd kill that in half an hour.
  17. We are all supposed to be working, but posting here instead.
  18. I think it's cool, in a "I don't have any money" sort of way.
  19. Scrapdaddytatum took a video of me trying to do a burnout with the subaru bug. Glorious axis power action below.
  20. My RX has a straight pipe. It sounds pretty good, not too loud. I guess the turbo quiets it down a bit, though.
  21. Dieseling is aggravated by timing too far advanced, idle speed too high, fuel quality low, and overheating. Carbon deposits and worn spark plugs don't help either (if the side electrodes are severely worn, they overheat and provide a source of ignition). Any progress on that video? I'm eager.
  22. TDI's can twist up to like 5 grand. But you want cruising rpm lower, or you will lose that delicious economy. You could probably make up for it with larger diameter tires.
