  1. What truck? A Brat?
  2. ShawnW had 3 nice oil coolers, I snatched one for my turbo wagon for like 15 bucks shipped or something. You may want to get a hold of him for one.
  3. So, Who's got a tranny and a few hours to help me? I don't have time to mess with it today, so I'm going to just leave it and try to work on it this weekend.
  4. Oh yeah dude...Park, neutral, everything is fine, in D it just won't shift automatically into the 2nd or 3rd gear.
  5. Yeah...I want a dual range...But, for now I'd like to just clean up the governor and hope it helps.
  6. Heh...A new one huh? And this is one of those uber elusive parts like chrome Brat bed trim isn't it?
  7. Hmmm, I'll do that tomorrow AM when it's light out. Hope it fixes the problem.
  8. So, I'm having a weird problem with my 1984 turbo wagon. When I put the car into drive it will go through the first gear, but not into the second gear which limits my speed to about 20 mph. I can put the car into 1 and it will drive fine and also into 2. But, when the car is in drive and the rpms get high (around 20 mph like I said before) I can put it into 2 and it will be okay until the top of that gear (which is about 35 mph) So, 1 and 2 are fine. "D" only will not engage into the second or third gears. Fluid level is fine, there's no leaks... So, that means the tranny is/going bad? Isn't there some type of vacuum unit on the tranny I can check? What about the torque converter? Thanks, b84w
  9. Whoa whoa whoa, wasn't making fun, just getting some facts straight.
  10. Rad! Are those purple sweat pants?
  11. My bad, you know my days off...Sunday and Monday, let's do something then.
  12. Why didn't you call me doad? I would rather have ridden up with you rather then freaking work 5am-9pm. So, the RX wagen changes motors like you change your underwear. BTW: What did you decide on for the license plate up here in the WA?
  13. w3rd to that, Jamie helped me out tons finding a front valance for my turbo wagon.
  14. ^Sick, there's a silver BD on Craigslist right now with more or less the same setup. How about my roommate's BC with a JDM ej20g?
  15. ^ Oh yeah, you are right. Just for S and G's here's an RA STI: MMM....4 door.
  16. Non-motor related, but...The RA's had the silly roof scoop too. Have you guys seen the Legacy RA? That's a crazy motor with the gold accents.
  17. This will sound really silly and archaic, but take a long screw driver and set the end of it on each of the fuel injectors with the handle to your ear and have someone start the car. You'll be able to hear them pulsing/clicking if the injectors are properly working.
  18. Read this: http://www.usmb.net/repair/?CurrentDirectory=FOLDER_3f29b58f4430b8.49200047/&FileType=Article&File=ARTICLE_3f2c055f4862e9.39782181.art
  19. ^LOL, I think everyone has done that with their first ea82 car.
  20. LOLZ. That was the worst chop evar! So Tyler, here's Cliff Notes for you: 2" exhaust to Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler MAF adapter with cone air filter XT spings and struts 4 door RX body kit
  21. Give him constructive ideas. If you don't want help, don't ask questions. [/thread]
  22. I told him to look for just a stock 4 door RX skirt set for the closest thing to an aftermarket body kit.
