  1. Thanks again, I'll be out in the garage after work trying to track down the problem. I'm pretty sure it's an issue with the cables, but I'm not ruling out the alternator POSSIBLY being bad. So my plan is to pull the alternator, have it tested and buy new battery cables why I'm there at the parts store.
  2. Yeah dude, they are the factory cables/terminals...That's probably where the problem is coming from. It is a remanufactured alternator, so I will check the voltage in the morning. Hmmmm...
  3. Okay, I'll take a look at the alternator cable and check the voltage tomorrow morning. Thanks for the quick reply turbone.
  4. Yep...1984 turbo wagon less than 150k, AT. I replaced the starter, alternator and battery in the car about 3 weeks ago and have had to charge the battery 2 times since. It will start fine for like 4-5 days, but my voltmeter will read lower everyday when I'm starting the car, until it won't start at all. Under normal driving the voltmeter reads fine, it's just when starting the volts will read lower each time it's started. So...What should I be looking for? Worn, crappy battery/starter cables? OR.......????
  5. i meant "like 5" as a general number. what about tigard? or is that the sherwood one? the one's around PAW are actually pretty decent too. the UPI in Vancouver always sucked, there was a good yard out in battle ground, but they don't allow anyone out in the yard anymore. :-\
  6. i wonder if he knows there's like 5 in the PDX area.
  7. wth? haha, did you visit the set of Mad Max?
  8. It's still an auto, a little more miles than that one, but mine has a few mods.
  9. When I sell my turbo wagon (don't know when, but probably soon) I'm hoping to get $2500 for it, but we'll see.
  10. the bumpers on my turbo wagon are faded and it's always driven me crazy, that bumper black stuff totally sucks, as soon as it rains it comes off, leaving weird streaks...in the end the crap makes the bumper/trim/mirrors look WAY worse. i'll need to check that stuff out.
  11. ah, what a ton of armor all, a coat of wax and eagle tire polish will do for a 20 y/o car. there's been some SERIOUSLY over-priced Subarus around lately.
  12. i still stand by my earlier statment.
  13. rigoli brat>that brat
  14. do a search or check out the USRM.
  15. is that the one that was on craigslist?

  17. Does your car start and run fine?
  18. and by god you mean the USMB?
  19. Wow, looks rad... Make sure you don't post videos of you or Nicky shooting.
  20. That place is so rad! Plus, it's like a block from the Damascus U-Pull-It. That was totally out of line. I didn't know shooting guns was inappropiate for the USMB now too.
  21. wow. this thread is going to be HOT. free bump.
  22. And we all know how many Camaros Brad has in his front yard on blocks.
  23. Maybe check your o2 sensor...My turbo wagon's ECS light was coming on randomly for about a month or so, no symptons, no crappy starts or running...Just randomly the light would come on, then I replaced the o2 sensor and it hasn't come back on.
