heak soak.....BBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!! Hm. I wonder if I can insulate the coolant runners at all.....must l00k at t3h !ntAk3.

You will need to have the struts dyno'd on an actual shock dyno to see which one is stiffer. The best camber plates to use are the Cusco and Noltec for GD-WRX.

Fiberglass flares.....

there was one spot on the course he did not quite see....i took him for a ride and he seen it. that and it was his first time out....EVER. Steven and I were impressed.

I not know what to do. Really, I need to just drive it. It needs more grip before I add more power...except for the turbo. I'd like to get more spool and low end...and a little top end. Thats what the Deadbolt PnP turbo is for...thats it for power for a while. I am probly going to go with a full bushing set next. In the mean time...I will be brain storming monster power from alot of stock parts....the RX will not be the wagon all over again. No shortcuts or BS rigging.

Intercooling for Dummies. (I did it)

ic=hot is no no. ic=hot on inlet and cold on outlet...yes yes. -
excellent point. If that Nick Tucci guy had slicks....and his STi was stock except for a catback and BOV...im sure he would have nearly outran me.

DIS is right on the ball as usual.

timing belts every 50k miles. change the oil with GOOD oil every 3k, and ALWAYS use OE parts. keep the cooling system clean and fresh coolant.... and its good for another 136k! I work at Prestige SUBARU in Asheville NC, so anything you need, I can get it for you.

The sypder intake has a rather large plenum chamber...and it looks as if the WRX/STi and the normal Leone MPFI/turbo intake plenums are the same size....or similar. BOTH of them dump stright into a wall of aluminium. the spyder and early EJ manifolds dont. The NA EJ's have a better spyder design....the newer EJ's have a similar to non-spyder EA82 MPFI intake look to them until you get to the runners. I am thinking that its evidently no so important on the turbos that you have such design...as subaru engineers see it. I think I'll just bolt a large TB on the normal manifold. opinions?

is it your hatch or RX? mine makes it....but its all the time and louder now....wheel bearing is t3h pr!m3 susp3ct.

thats teeny. -
just flare it.

you can use any camber plate you want...cusco, mrt, noltec...etc.... its iffy on the struts....worn RX struts are not going to be as strong as new GR2s tho....but the GR2s are MUCH weaker than new RX struts...and RX struts are long gone no longer avalible. The original numbers supercede to a new number that is avalible, but I ordered them...and they are JUNK. WEAK and they are the same as any plain 4wd/2wd OE strut.
-
plates are MRT Rally ones...no longer made. I got them second handed. THey will work on WRX/Legacy/RX/All other Leone with EA82 in it. I am using "1/2 coilovers" which means...stockish struts with coil over springs and collars over them. GR2's are advertized to be 10~15% stiffer then OE...and they only have GR2's for non RX applications. RX's from the factory are 2x the dampening...thats 50% if I do my math correctly. However..the 4wd front struts are WAY too tall for me...i need to be as low as possiblt and maintain some travel. So ive got stock RX rears and GR2 2wd's on the front. No idea on accord springs.
