oh no3s!!!!!!!!! All the SESO's from NASIOC are invading USMB! RUN EVERYONE!!!! I wont be at the meet, I will be in Atlanta for autox events. The reason I dont post these meet deals is... 1. no one shows interest in the meet. 2. no one shows up at the meet. Oh well...

XT-6 Steering fluid brushes and cybrid fluid source
WJM replied to XSNRG's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
We've got some XT6 stuff and I know whats what on those, I would be more than happy to work with you on that stuff.... and the Cybrid stuff is literally liquid gold... :-\ -
the blcok deisgn...and there is alot more material in the block over the EA82. Speaking of ER27....69.2 LBS.
-
WHOLE engines... EJ205 (WRX) is 350 lbs. EA82 is not listed as ever avalible as a complete engine assy or long block. :-\ My guess it about 100~150 lbs less.
-
So I looked up the weights of the engines... EA82T vs EJ205/EJ25x series EA82T shortblock is 45.5 lbs. All the EJxxx engines I looked up are listed as 110.0 lbs. Hmmm...thats a GAIN of 64 lbs.

I barrowed Templar's SParco 250MM one with the WRX hub adapter as stated before to test the fitment. You can get the 7306 (impreza) hub adapter for $60 from anywhere...or boxer4racing.com. the 7303 is the one for the Leones...but is very hard to find and I think no longer avalible. The only reason I used that wheel is to test the fitment of the Impreza hub adapter, as stated before. -

There is a guy here in asheville that builds the best LSD's in the world. -
That will work. TWE header and Downpipe ($600) WRX TMIC ($50~$100) Greddy Profect II EBC ($200~$400) Intake ($40 total) All adds up to 230 hp/295TQ at the crank...aka 161/206 at the wheels.

Once you get the horn junk off, its a direct fit. I do have some concerns about how far the hub goes on the splines (aka the nut is jsut barely on there with all of its threads...going to look at that later tonight....) Otherwise, Im sure a horn button is not hard to rig up, and otherwise its direct fit. -

Ok, had to take the horn stuff out so it would fit, hince the stuff off the column and hanging...otherwise, fits fine. Still going to take it off and examine if there would be any other problems. The wheel pictured is NOT mine, its Templars...im borrowing it since his WRX is down for all kinda of upgrades...its a Sparco 350MM wheel. More to come... -

PB blaster overnight poped right off. More later, off to work. -
Yes you can autox it...as long as you just drive it there, run on street tires, and thats it...no $ spending on it to make it go faster...
