  1. ive got a known good PS pump. its from my GL-10. was quiet as a mouse. Ive tightened belts down beyond belief....never had issues.
  2. I'll check on it tomorrow. im pretty sure they are still avalible.
  3. New shifter bushiings is usually the fix.
  4. depends on how much demand there is. If ppl will actually BUY them...instead of getting the POS NAPA/Autozone BS....and the OE doesnt hold a candle to these pads either...then there will be an avalible stock for them. I've raced/street driven cars with and with out these pads...the bobcats are worth every penny.
  5. this would be a set of 4 pads for the FRONT. Carbotech will make rears as well if the demand is there...aka 10 sets.
  6. It has come to my attention that the EBC greens that I use are becomming VERY VERY hard to get....thru anyone, and Ive been getting them thru Dale at boxer4racing.com...we talked at lenght about this this morning over the phone. HOWEVER...Carbotech Bobcat pads are WAY WAY better and the plates are exact fit if we order some from from Dale, as he is a distributor for Carbotech. The EBC's ive been getting are CLOSE...as the application is for the early Legacy's with the smaller brakes. EBC does NOT make Red stuff for them, and DO NOT make ANY pads for the Leone/Loyale stuff. Looking at $109 for a set of these pads. I've tried every pad under the sun...and the bobcats are certinly the BEST for street/autox/spirited street driving. The NAPA and other OEM style stuff is JUNK...unless you are just putzing around and dont care about it. So...lets see what kind of interest we have in these...
  7. Wrong! Folger's has about 6 headers left that are NOT spoken for...
  8. there is no price sheet avalible...I'll have to call in one by one. if anyone is 100% serious about any service tools, CALL ME. Will in Parts @ Prestige SUBARU, Asheville NC. 1-828-298-9600
  9. mmmmkay... JWX! Get off yer butt and sendme those PDL parts! Keyless entry going on the RX ASAP! :-p
  10. Yes. Im not going to FCD anything. GOing stright to MSDIS
  11. I know they suck. Prestige and Folgers is on the good list for SUBARUs.
  12. Actually, ive only seen ONE RX in WNC...the other 4 were seen in Concord NC....right in the middle of the state almost. I purchased 2 of those. Ive actually seen about 10, yes, TEN, 3 door coupes out here tho.
  13. Ive seen 6 RX's in NC. 3 of them mine...the rest...all in passing.
  14. 3500 RPM in 5th is 75~76 MPH. a 3AT DL SPFI wagon I had would hit 95 MPH....and stop...it was stock. Turning 5500 RPMs at 95....LAMO
  15. i believe he means it was an all optioned out GL TURBO coupe...even with the RX package. However, the actual RX coupe was not avalible until 1987....RX sedans in all different colors were avalible in 1985 and 1986...but the real deal RX's were not avalible until...you gussed it, 1987. Sedan's last year was 1988, Coupe 1989...but the so called "Loyale RS" was basically an RX...but single range, and no turbo...turbo was optional....and Coupe only. Speaking of that...I know where an RS is...I should go pick that thing up....
  16. One of the better cars you could get, and more creature freindly and reliable would be a 96-99 Outback....those are found EVERYWHERE. Otherwise, the EA82 SPFI 4WD subies are the best!
  17. USMB cannot and will not be held responsible for anything that happens outside of the internet. As stated...it is always good measure to replace all the front end seals if you are going to be in there doing something...along with the water pump.... I think I PM'ed you or stated before that any Joe BLow shop is going to rip anyone a new one for working on some carthey dont have a clue about...there are ONLY about 5 places in NC that I would trust w/any subaru...2 of those are dealers, the other two are in WNC, and one is in Salisbury...north of Charlotte by about 1hr or so. Either way, this 'new' problem should be covered by that shop...and next time, take it to a real suby mechanic. That said, I could have done all that work in 4 hrs, at the cost of just the OE parts and lunch/gas money.
