  1. so i keep rpetending that know what the duty c selonoid does...but i don't and no.. i havn't done a forum search for it.
  2. but unmatched tires may be different physical sizes which would cause awd problems.
  3. http://www.subaru.co.jp/legacy/outback/mechanism/07/imgs/top.jpg there's a language barrier
  4. actually, that sounds like a bad AC clutch. same thing happens on my 96.. kind of a "chirp" when letting off the throttle about halfway around 3500rpm. there's also another guy in my apartment building with a 95 legacy and it does the same thing. see if it only does it when the AC is on.
  5. yeah, i should be able to get a little bit of a video clip and/or sound clip. i'll work on that. however i doubt that i'll be able to get a sound clip of it backfiring on acount that my fiance thinks all this is stupid and most likely would care to help me much. she may though.. she suprises me everyday :-p
  6. so the muffler came in and i got it welded on! it sounds AWSOME.. especially since my buddy wasn';t paying attention and put it on backwards, so the baffles may as well not be there. it sounds really nice and i do enjoy the light backfire on the downshift. eventually we're gonna take it off and mount it the right way. another cool thing is that i got the stock subaru exhaust tip to fit on to the cherry bomb, so it looks stock.
  7. no, mine's legally lifted (legacy to outback struts). in PA it's 28" from the ground to the bottom of the front bumper. but also, the limit is that the body cannot exceep 3 inches above the frame. also, i'm pretty sure that the frame cannot be modified. do you have emissions in your area?
  8. i had a problem doing it to my legacy. the rear was tough, but enough pry-baring did the trick.
  9. 96 legacy LS 2.2 na 120mph down a hill with a wind to my back at 4k rpms (governed)
  10. I GOT IT TODAY! now i gotta get around to putting it on
