Dayamn. Well yeah since you tell me all that now. :/ well ************. My dream down the tube and I've done wiring harness swaps. I have the money for it too. Guess I'll settle for that clean ej22t at the junk yard. Half the price Can't thank you enough GD. You've saved me thousands by stopping my shenanigans xD

Im turning my 1996 Legacy L into the Japanese Legacy GT-B. I dont know why they didnt release them in the united states but the GT-B has a twin turbo 2.0 that puts out 247 HP and 227 ft.lbs torque. The letter B in the name comes from the Bilstein suspension. So, i can get the bilstein shocks anywhere, and i found the engine on the JDM Engine Depot website, but they are current out of stock and i'm snagging one the instant they say they have it. The other thing is, what do i have to change on my car to run the 2.0? I'm pretty sure i have to get a different ECU, but will it wire up with little effort? I mean, by looking at the pics on the JDM Engine Depot you could swear from the top it looks exactly like the EJ22 and EJ25. http://www.jdmenginedepot.com/jdm_engine_details/203/Subaru_EJ20_Legacy_RS_&_GT-B_Turbo_%2811/96%29 Just check the link. Some other things on my list are the GT body kits and hood, brakes, rims (hopefully easier done then said for the rims) and a rear LSD. Oh, and all the parts for a manual swap, which i can just get from the junk yard. Oh, and the correct cross member.

I can tell you MMO cleans out catalytic converters. They were plugged up pretty bad on my truck to where they were killing power, but the truck has no post o2 sensor so it didn't throw a code. I ran MMO in the fuel for 600 miles and not only did it clean out the cats, I got back some missing power. Now this is a truck the we have owned since it was brand new off the lot and we have never ran a fuel additive in the tank since we bought it and it now has a 104,000 miles. I ran Marvel Mystery Oil in the fuel and when I decided to pull the catalytic converters they were spotless. They were so clean I held it up 2 light and you could see right through them. Now I don't know about you but if you can make a catalytic converters that clean I'm pretty sure Marvel Mystery Oil is good for something. My buddy also put it in his Honda engine that you fired up in the morning it would burn a little oil and now it doesn't burn any oil at all. The oil burning went away after about 200 miles. Of course that 200 miles came fast for him because he drives 80 miles a day so yeah. I'm a strong believer in Marvel Mystery Oil. I had a 1991 Mazda Navajo that had a few running issues so I ran Marvel Mystery Oil in the fuel with the fuel pressure regulator disconnected. After about 500 miles I noticed a huge improvement in acceleration and throttle response. No I probably want to ask somebody on the forum first about doing this to my Subaru because I don't know if the fuel rail would be able to hold up to full pressure all the time. Anyone have any input on that???

I have a stock turbo you can have. No play.

I see that over confidence issue in the snow every year, but with idiots in big rump roast trucks. They think their ginormous tires give them better traction right before they crap themselves cause they almost killed someone. They just don't think they have to slow down like everyone else.

Actually Ivan all oil is not the same. And I'm not talking about the differences between synthetic and conventional. Things you need to look for when checking out oil is the service grade. As of this year the current survice grade is SN. Also be looking on the front of the oil bottles for the starburst symbol. It says American Petroleum Certified around the edges and "For Gasoline Engines" in the center. On the back you wanna look for what's called API Service donut. It states the service grade of the oil, oil viscosity, and may or may not say energy conserving. Just keep this in mind folks: as long as you use the viscosity rating and service grade (or higher, never lower) that your car calls for and the oil you are buying has the starburst symbol on the front, you are buying a quality oil.

Ah. Over hear cheapest oil you get is Federated. A little parts store called 9 to 9 auto parts sells it at 3.49 a qt. It's legit stuff. We have a 2000 Chevy k2500 p.u. with a 454 that we have used said oil in since we bought it new with 91 miles on it. Replaced valve cover gaskets at 104000 miles and the heads were still silver. Spotless. I also used the stuff in a 1994 Plymouth grand voyager 3.8. The inside of the engine wasn't perfect put after just 2 oil changes those heads were clean. I know cause I had to do a intake manifold gasket.

ej22 Performance Upgrades

^^^ would there be one of those intake silencers on my 1996 legacy? Found it. Removed it. Wow -
I believe GD told me the ej22 is capable of taking 10 psi on stock internals, or was that a dream? There's a legacy (gen before mine) and I was wondering if it would be possible to grab the y pipe turbo and downpipe and swap them directly into my engine. And what would I have to go through to run the oil supply line and return line.
