  1. ok,think i found the problem cam sensor, but had to order one, as much $$$$ as i spent i should had it towed to a shop
  2. changed coil , fuel filter, plugs / wires, oem, crank sensor, getting fuel , but seems no spark on crank, any more suggestions ????????????before i quit and torch it
  3. still no start, checked fuses, relays, new fuel filter, plugs / wires, oem, different crank sensor, getting fuel , but seems no spark , changed coil pack , any more suggestions
  4. check all fuses and relays, chaunged coil pack, but will check again
  5. no it;s not the one we did a swap on, [ white wagon] it will not start , changed coil pack and it ran great and started right up , now no start , changed coil pack again, maf , changed plugs/ wires oem, crank sensor, good battery, full tank of gas,
  6. my 97 will not start 2.2 a/t 176,000mi ran fine before,are all coil pack the same dimond , are all crank sensors the same , i used spare parts,the car stumbles and almost starts
  7. yes on the rubber plug, went and bought a 5/8 1/2 in deep well socket, will try tomorrow , if not working, thanks
  8. my 2000 has no egr unless it is located in a different place ,
  9. yea, the the store is closed up , menards might have one, lows, ,broke 1 plug wire ,so ordered a new set, still not the starting problem , it almost starts but strumbles , changed fuel filter, coil pack, tank full of gas, checked all fuses, relays, battery good, could be coolant temp, or fuel pump,yes oem nkg plug/ wires,

  11. the 5/8 fits , but to fat to fit ino hole,i'll try the tool in the pouch , , strange thing is the 5/8 works fine on the 95 2.2 i did have ,
  12. i have changed other 2.2 plugs on my 95 ,with no problems, not sure what your talking about peanut socket ? thanks, one plug came out and looked ok , so the plugs are not my problem ,but no harm to change them
  13. need to change the plugs in my 97 legacy L awd a/t 2.2 motor wagon , the 3 different sizes i have do not seem to fit all the way down into take the spark plug out,5/8 seems to work , but the plugss seem to far in,
  14. new timing belt water pump 3000 miles ago , but i;ll look

  16. checked all fuses , going to try alittle starting fluid ,could be fuel pump, i have a spare, going to try another coil pack+ new fuel filter,

  18. no start after sitting, all night , ran fine yesterday , changed coil pack 2days ago .i give up for now , to cold outside 10 above , almost tries to start , but battery goes down,
  19. ok, switched coil packs seemed good 2 days ago, no start now, switched maf , new timing belt, water pump , tenisioner , full tank of gas, but bought cheaper gas last week, it will crank , seems like it is not getting fuel , new plug wires, [ oem] , fuel filter 20,000 mi ago, running battery down trying any help,+ changed crank sensor, got down to 0 last night , put a can of dry gas in tank, good thing i have a spare car to drive , may have to wait until spring to drive it,
  20. did they replace the tranny filter with the right filter, that same thing was did to my subaru a few yrs back, but the place said nothing had saw what they did and used a wrench on the tranny filter, screwed it back on, started to leak , replaced filter myself,
  21. my 95 2.2 did the same thing , coolant temp sensor, real pain to get to ,
