  1. also bought a 97 outback with t-stat out, but dropped a 2.2 in it,
  2. replaced both relays making noise , still getting buzzing , no hard start , runs fine , does not buzz all the time , very cold outside, everything is off , here is one thing there is a remote start ,but i have no remote to use it,
  3. there are 2 different types of coil pack for ej22 motors , 1 with plug on pack and one with a pigtail and a plug are they the same or different, thanks
  4. yes, my spares were different will not work,but the strange thing is only makes a noise when it is cold out checked #rc 5001 and rc 5008. 3 of each .
  5. ok, i'll change both will autozone carry them or special order ? well found spares but from a 95 lsi 2.2 denso type are the same 4
  6. buzzing noise coming from main fuse box under hood , located which one the 2 black breakers closes to the drivers side strut ,but only does it when it is real cold out 10-15 degrees , checked both out all clean , should i replace or nothing to worry about,right before i start the car,
  7. yes around 600 bucks, check underneith , for bad axles, oil leaks, touque bind,+ parts aleast around here are some times hard to find, but then you can buy them here,
  8. do not use wal-mart brand oil , it will make your subaru smoke alittle,
  9. ok, but still would not hurt to clean it, any pics of the part your talking about, i have all spare parts, i am thinking it's the brown color sensor,
  10. take egr off clean it with old tooth brush or wire brush
  11. got the same code tonight po400 code exhaust gasket , cleared it , wondering if the egr needs cleaned out ? not sure if i have done that
  12. any check engine light on, could be coolant temp sensor, autozone will check it for free, i had the same problem ,
  13. mine leaked also , 3/8 hose , i used a piece of new hose , good quality
  14. should be lower radiator hose round gray color
  15. every so often after sitting all night , the fuel pump makes a noise coming from the main relay box under the hood , on my 2000 legacy L wagon, a/t , could it be the fuel pump relay ? if so where is the relay ? passanger side , or drivers side , or black box under the hood , if so which relay ? thanks
  16. any cell showing up, autozone will read it for free, i kinda had the same problem , bad coolant temp sensor, real pain to change ,
  17. noticed a wire tapped into the coil pack and running though fire wall to some where inside , car runs fine mpg is 23 city , idles fine ,etc.. just wondering why it is there, 2000 legacy wagon a/t awd, 108,000mi thanks
  18. yes new coolant + timing belt, water pump, stat, thanks will add,
  19. should i go ahead and add the subaru conditioner to the 2000 legacy 2.5 , no over heating ,no problems now, or wait ? or over kill
