there is round black canster ,with 3 black hoses , if i remember it is the bigger of the 2 , start car , pull hose and put it into seafoam can let it suck into the motor , + pour some into carb or spfi ,but not to much , then put the rest into the gas tank , there might be a few other vacuum hoses ,

maybe bad plug wires, or vacuum lines , give it a tune up , also drain and fill tranny , check timing , -
i got my tranny cooler [ light duty] from advance auto on line , 37 bucks i think shipped + new 2 row radiator for my turbo wagon , no i am not going to tow anything ,just piece of mind , i am going to run the ac this summer , so the motor + tranny should be cooler, i ran it going though the new radiator + tranny cooler

if it will not even turn over , check the cables going from the battery to the starter , this was my problem + ground+ fuses , -

is has started up every time now , just the 1 time ,and my wife got a ride to work , ,but sunday i will clean the starter side of the cable,thanks again -

battery clamps tight and clean, fuseable links are clean and good, when she turned the key nothing , like when you have it in drive and try to start it , no grinding, , all the dash light come on , , it started right up after sitting 1 hour , also started right up this morning ??,is there some kind of safety switch that may be going out , even if the shifter is in park ,causing it not to start ?thanks -

my 88 turbo a/t full time 4wd wagon , just would not start, my wife said i put the key in and nothing ,all dash lights came on ,but no start, sooooooo i came home picked her up ,went where the car was and it started right up , things that are new, timing belts, tension pullies , idle, water pump, plugs, wires, cap/ rotor, fuel filter, radiator , temp sensor, , any suggestions ? my wife said it sat about 1 hour

i just got one from a 86 mpfi xt ,will sell cheap + shipping if it will work for you -
i have recharged my own system a few times ,i bought a kit from a local auto store ,and followed all directions + asked a local shop , and the shop showed me the correct way to do it , no i do not do it for a living or even work on cars for a living , and yes it can be dangerous ,but if all directions are followed ,it's not that hard to do

ok, also new water pump, gasket ,o-ring, heater hoses, water pipe was good, also, + oil line + coolant line from turbo replaced , thanks -
my 88 turbo a/t full time 4wd is still using coolant , aleast 1 time a week i have to add coolant , i repaced radiator , hoses , added tranny cooler, no coolant in oil, compression is good, no bubbles in radiator , no coolant on garage floor , no leaking on top of motor,
